Sony Vaio.
P4 3.06 Ati Mobility Radeon 9200 512MB DDR
Runs like a dream.
The IGP radeon is the only thing that might cause you problems. ______________________________________________
Never argue with idiots. They will just drag it down to their level, and then beat you through experience. |

yeah i do here
Dell Inspiron 5150 P4M 3.06ghz 512mb DDR nVidia GeforceFX 5200go 64mb (forcing it to use the desktop 5200 drivers as they are alot quicker) (1280x960 windowed or 1600x1200 fullscreen) get around 25-40FPS in space, due to my laptop getting very hot i switch my laptop down to its mobile speed setting of 1.6ghz which meeps it from overheating at a "slight" framerate hit.

I do:-
Dell Inspiron 8500 2.5GHz Pentium 4m 1Gb RAM Radeon 9000 mobility
I *have* to run it full screen, it's unplayable in window mode. And the variable speed fan cranks up to max, it's like a hairdryer spitting all the hot air out the back.

I use a laptop with the ATI IGP card to play EVE. Mine's a 320M. Until recently, when HP finally updated the drivers, my system crashed almost everytime I went through a jump-gate. Now it works real well, except for a strange bug that makes all portraits look goofy - eyes have no lids and almost everybody appears bald.
Costumer support here on the EVE site stated that the IGP card has all functions needed to run EVE. It just needs to have the most recent drivers, which are appearantly not always supplied by the manufacturer as quick as one could wish. As mentioned, I just got compatibility for year-old games...

I run mine on a compaq X1000. pentium M, 1.7 ghz. radeon 9200 (32 MB).
I noticed that on alot of laptops the fan seems to kick in keep in mind that your pushing the system and the GPU and CPU are working harder than normal. because of this there is alot of heat that builds up in confined spaces and that is they the fans come on maximum speed. I know my fans kick on immediately.

igp will run but not very well, as for the heat issue that is very true i screw3d my mobility 9000 gfx on my laptop running eve windowed a lot, still works but wont run eve nemore. if ne1 would like to donate me an alienware laptop or the cash to buy 1 i would be very grateful.

I picked up this ace book today everyone rates it as a must buy for the budding military genius, tho ive decided to rename it as "Sun Tzu's art of the bloody obvious" |
