Why would they say anything? Do they comment every time a mechanic works as intended.

Yeah, nothing. One would expect that with the amount of posts directed at this event that someone from CCP would step forward and issue a coment that could set alot of people minds at ease. Is this kind of event a bug, or is it part of intended gameplay.
There are alot of players that would really like to hear an answer from the top, and yet, after 24 hours of speculation and endless forum post, the GM's are still silient, what gives?

Not everytime, but with an event of this magnitude people probably want CCP to pop out and say : No foul play, game on! or some form of confirmation.

When a company needs to give a statement, it usually takes at least a couple of days to figure out what they're going to say. Consult their analysts on what they should say. Consult the lawyers. Etc etc.

Bob is the one's who gave him access. It isn't like they didn't know what one could do with that level power. So long and short their fault. Will they recover from it? Time will tell.

Anyone see the movie "Boondock Saints"? The scene in the police station where they are going over who the guys are, that they know they are Irish and make a suggestion on how to lure them out? Then the guy walks in and says "if you put a beer on a string youd have better luck." I can see that working on the devs. then just club em, tie em up and make them answer or face listening to celine dion cds.  |
