there is a problem with missiles not just knocking you about they also stopping you not sure weither it was the defenders from the assualt launcher stopping me or the catacylism cruise missiles
Try 1 Apoc 2 armour hardners try and warp out by double clicking on a planet while 2 Arch Priests are hammering you with missiles I couldnt warp for 10 minutes then down time came The armourer repair units kept doing there thing
please test the following scenario and I wasnt warp scrambled

lost a megathron this way...
npc cruise missiles bounced me around like a toy.
since that i never leave home without smartbombs

DonŠt use the defenders .. they will mess up your warp.

I also lost a megathron in a similar, but slightly different way. I was spamming defenders and destroying cruise missiles 20km away. Each time an I launched a defender I would lose velocity and couldnt warp. Since this is *completely* retarded I didnt suspect it, and kept launching defenders. I spent over a minute trying to line up for warp and getting knocked off trajectory by this bug. Then my sweet mega became cosmic space dust.
*edit* I did some testing and realized it was *launching* the defenders, not them hitting the evil missiles, that caused the slowdown.

I had something similar in a typhoon. Was getting missle spammed by Arch Angels and couldn't warp. Managed to get away by hitting my mwd. Once it clicked off my speed was high enough to warp. Without the mwd i'd quite possibly have lost the ship...
