Soooo....I have this crazy idea of making a useable character and than selling it to the highest bidder...so i checked it out...it says the transfer costs 20$....
so i need a bit of explanation..is this the only way to do it? cuz i see a lot of people buying and selling characters? Do they really give 20$ for a character? or is this done in some other way?
Also buying PLEX with ISK...how is that exacly done? i read the rules on the trading board and it says something like i put a buy order (or does the seller do that?) with the amount of ISk i'm giving and how man PLEX i want and i send it to the guy with PLEXes...and he just accepts and transaction complete?
Oh and is it possible(in any way) to use PLEX to subscribe an account which expired? a trial account?

Yes Everyone That sells a char pays the 20$ transfer fee.
About the plex with isk.. go to any market and hit the search and type in plex.. you can by the plex card and if you want to use it right click and hit apply plex and your account with get 30 days. (going rate for 30 days is about 300mill)
No AFAIK you cant use a plex on an account that has expired. |

so....the players who sell the characters pay 20$ to give away the character? but get ISk in return....lol....that's just....stupid imo....
Is there any other way to make ISK without real money getting involved, using 2 accounts? big big money i mean...cuz i have no intention on spending time on 2 accounts at the same time just to make double ISK...can i sell the account or something?
...oh and..i know it's OT, but.....i've been reading bout the militia...and i got few questions?
-Do i get new agents and corporations? or do i just continue doing missions for my corporation with new special militia missions?
-Can members of other races attack me in my races high sec space?
-Does the militia afford well? How much more ISK/LP/standing do i get?
-Can i leave at any time and how do i leave?

If you want special militia missions, then you will need to talk to the agents in your militia corp. The agents for the militia corps will only give missions to members of that militia.

You can be attacked by the opposing militia's anywhere. If they attack you in friendly high sec, the local navy will show up to help you, but there is no gaurentee that you will win.

It is doubtful that the militia will earn you anything extra. PvP is designed to be an overall net loss, and the militia is there to facilitate PvP. Don't join the militia because you want to make ISK, join it because you want to have fun.

You can leave at anytime. If you have killed a large number of empire faction NPC's you might have lost enough standing that you will be KOS in that faction's space. If you focus on killing players, then you are less likely to have standings problems. |

i have also a question to the buy sell. not that i intend to sell my char, but, how can i found out his value?
are there any guide lines for this, or does a person just say "i want 300m" and waits for somebody who buys it ?

A very rough guideline is about 200mil isk per 1mil sp. However, depending on what you've actually trained, that number can vary wildly. A capital pilot, for instance, would earn much more isk per sp due to rarity and the fact that the skillbooks themselves are so expensive. As a general rule, characters with under around 3 mil sp aren't traded, as buying a gtc and selling it for isk would be better value
