Just curious but whats the point of trying to get these speeds?
I can only think its for the hell of it as in travel and combat 3k+ usually suffices.

Travel will be no quicker, I rarely reach 2k before I am jumping through a gate or docking at a station so saying it will be 8 times faster is rubbish. Getting a ship to 3-5k is all you need, anything more than this has no real viable use. Unless someone wants to prove me wrong.

As a combat pilot though when looking for a fight an empty ship will not fulfill my needs.

We found 3 free bs and 2 free haulers, surley 400mil of ships + named/tech2 modules would fulfil anyones needs
