What would be the best weapon group, ship class, and ship for an gang-anti drone boat besides a disco ball. Namely the purpose of this ship would be to warp pretty much on top of the target after the tackler has them and blow up the targets drones, but not the gang's.

actually, you could have your tackler do that job for you. Thats what I use the weapons and drones on my tackle ships. |

If you're rich as hell and pimp you can use a lolNighthawk with a web, painter, sensor booster (scan res), AML's, and T2 Light drones maybe.
I beat the crap out this Ishtars drones with a ratting Nighthawk once with no painter or web in no time whatever, but I got BC at 5.
Otherwise maybe a Cerb with AML's, painter and web(s).
No idea about gunships, but I bet turret Dessies can bring it. Bit fragile though. |

mmm...but dessies are borked in pvp right now, too big to evade and too little tank to take those shots.
Generally yes, that's what the interceptors do, but since most people are packing warrior II for just this I was thinking of something a little more durable to take care of those drones. I'd rather not have to do a interceptor for your ship trade  |

hmmm, maybe an ishkur? it will arrive after the tackle. it will be drone on drone action but also brings its own guns to supplement the tackler. |

I had some success with a blaster catalyst, webbed, painted...volley...1 drone down...on to the next. |

ac thrasher is the best ship for this.. other then that the takling inty should be setup to kill them.
