i have recently played left4dead which has a graphics mode refered to as "windowed (no border) where it is essentialy full screen but does not have a border. this means that you can alt-tab out of it and multitask quite easily because it does not minimise. would be cool if eve could do this, because its damn handy when using two monitors. |

Agreed! even WoW has this lol.
Basically just normal windowed mode, but no borders and auto-centered on the screen (so it looks exactly like fullscreen).
I'd love this. |

We shouldn't have to use evemon (or any of the other window movers) for this. |

Does this still work for you? For me that only works with the classic client. It doesn't seem to detect premium.

i always have to drag my window up. :| its not critical of course but its damn annoying. |

It would be awesome to have incorporated into the game.
However, until it is... Google search for "Start EVE". It's an older program, but it still works. Even with multiple clients. |

I run EVE on a 17" widescreen. The correct resolution is 1280x768.
In full mode EVE is 1280x768. In windowed mode EVE *should* be 1280x720, but it's 1280x768 just like full mode, which makes windowed mode pointless because I have to alt+tab to see the taskbar.

Some programs are designed to change windows setting like border or on top. You just need to find how and witch.
On my system, I right click on title bar and go Advanced and No border. After I can always move EVE window by holding left alt and left click anywhere in the EVE window. But this can be annoying when you play with the directional scanner and you press ALT before the left click....
