i scanned down an unknown in a .4 system yesterday and a mesage came up "the militant commander guards they key to the gate to the overseers level " or very similar to that.
There was no DOD rating....i wrped in to be confronted by huge bship spawn multiple frigates , triggers were everywhere spawning 10 + bships at a time . There were militant commander protectors etc and a shadow serp battlecruiser which gave shadow serp loot.
By this time i had corp help as things were really intense and after popping the commander a message popped up saying the gate had gone click and we could enter....
lv 2 huge battleship spawn plus a masive 30+ spawn of bships triggered when the smuggler gate was shot ( this inluded core guardian battleships ) and yet more smaller spawns ( bships ) when other things were shot. The militant commander overseer was finally taken down and no loot was in there except a large capacitor battery which sucked major but then we had the escalation...
Can anyone tell me the name of this mission as i cant find it anywhere and what rating it is..

This sounds like a typical combat plex, especially given that you scanned it and it wasn't a mission you had accepted. I don't think it's possible to scan mission deadspaces by themselves, only players who are running that mission.

Yep it was scanned down but ive done a lot of plexes in low sec and not one came close to the intensity of this one , usually i can solo most unknowns with my skills but this as way beyond what ive encountered before...i was wondering if anyone else has done this personally and any or all of the escalations it produces..

They dont all have DED ratings. Next time, check system map for the name. Sounds like maybe "Serpentis Fortress" or something. |

Non-rated plexes indeed can be as hard as some 10/10 stages.
xx Fortress, and xx Provisional HQ as 2 examples can be really, really tough. (xx since every race seems to have variations of the same ones).
What I *always* do is press f10 to get solar oevrview, and check the name of the plex. If I don't know it, I google for it. Saved me a couple of times from big surprises :P

It sounds a lot like the XXX Monastery plex. I've found the hi-sec version of it. In that one, it was two rooms. The outer room had several missile launchers and a sentry gun, plus about 7 ships (all cruisers in the hi-sec version). Room two had a central structure, around it at 6 cardinal points were battery clusters. Each cluster had a stasis tower in the center and 4 missile launchers around it. There were two sentry guns on the central monastery, and a mass of cruisers with a couple of battlecruisers there.

Whatever it was i loved it lol and all lv 4 missions should be based along those lines....i hadn't felt that excited playing Eve and running a mission for a long time....long live these plexes for sure..

The name of that plex was called (serp minor annex).(Hint) there is a harder plex in low sec called (serp annex).

I thought that once you were in a deadspace run that if you Pressed F10 and looked at your solar system map it tells you what deadspace mission your in? Am I wrong ?

"Annex" plexes are actually easier then "Minor Annex"
