In addition, navigation 5, spaceship command 5, and the freighter skill itself to at least 4. |

Only if you plant to autopilot the freighter and watch DVD's while doing so...
Navigation and Freighter skill add to speed.
Evasive maneuvering, Spaceship Command and Adv. Spaceship Command makes the freighter turn/align faster... and warp to zero does the rest. -----------------------------------------------

Yeah it's not too bad if you don't autopilot. With WTZ it's a lot better than I imagined it would be. --------------------

Basically you align to the nav point you are heading to and then have a friend target you and web you.
Basically this will 'slow' down your overall speed, allowing to you align to warp faster. Once they have webbed you, you then choose warp-to-zero.
This only seems to work when you have not undocked from a station. King of the puffy tail

Because they added full speed undocks you have to slow to a stop before beginning to align for the target gate/planet. (You need to drop all components of your velocity vector to zero.)
The easiest way to do this with stations you visit regularly is an undock bm. Warp to the bm and then you'll be at zero each time you undock. Then have a corpy waiting there to web you as you align. This is particularly important to consider in lowsec systems.
