I want in on the pie, but how is ore theft possible? Im a noob so havent much clue as to how its done.I thought the ore was deposited in secure containers. If this is done, how do you get the ore? However using secure cans arent efficient so most use jetted cans. Stealing the ore is easy. Use a ship ( preferably an industrial) and go to a roidfield. Then approach a jetted can and pick up the ore. The owner will probably not shoot you since his ship then will be destroyed by the police. That is the easy part. The hard part is to find a can that is worth picking. And yes use an alt because you will be hated. Its a game sure but emotions are real

TBH I think ore theft is a low income way to play the game, you will earn far far more doing stuff like mining / killing for bounty / pirateing (if that's your bag) / producing. All the big name ore theives I've come across like Vogon etc. are obviously role-playing, doing it more for the fun than the money.

If you choose this method of income generation you will do ok but won't get rich overnight. So why do I do it? well like Codefreeze said its role playing.
