Please note:
Character transfers occur instantaneously; however, once the transfer has been effected, the player receiving the new character will be unable to log into his new purchase until AFTER ONE downtime period has passed.
If more than one downtime has passed and you have not received the new character, please petition us under the Billing-Character Transfer categories.

I have always been able to use new characters I have bought minutes after purchasing, never had to wait till after dt.

Character can be sent to any account you choose. Not sure if it can be transferred to trial account or not.

Im trying to transfer this char back to her original accound and the page keep telling me "not authorized". Is this any known issue atm? Or is it generaly not possible to transfer a char back to the accound it came from?

Normally means your card was not authorised - Make sure you have entered all details correctly, corrct name, address etc as appears on your credit card statement.
Try another card if you have access to one

what if i dont have a credit card is there still a way i can sell my characters because it wont accept my debit card and i use paypal when i pay for my account

Whats a decent amount of time to allow for transfer of the character. I have sent the isk and spoken to the seller. I am now waiting for quite some time. I have not heard from the seller and no new posts have been made in regards to the transfer. I have not seen them online either. Do i take this as the seller having connection issues ? Or should i wait till after DT and then worry ? Or should i make out a petition asap ? The seller did not state that they would be away for any extended period of time.
What are my options ?

Isnt there another way to pay for a character transfer then by credit card ?? question doesnt seem to be answered and it would really interest me...

Credit/Debit Card is only way to pay for char transfer -
If you have not received char after dt (transfer is normally instant though) write petition asap - you may have been scammed!! Especially since not hearing from seller for some time.
Seller of the char has to pay the transfer fee as per rules

Can some one who has sold a character previously please give a detailed description of the selling process.... from the point where you enter the transfer character part to how you get the isk to your preferred character as ccp's rule #3 states that isk must go to the character being sold and i don't see how that happens if indeed this statement is true "Character transfers occur instantaneously; however, once the transfer has been effected, the player receiving the new character will be unable to log into his new purchase until AFTER ONE downtime period has passed."

The ISK transfer happens ingame but the character transfer is done via the account management website. Just log in the character being sold after the buyer sends the ISKies and transfer the cash away to another char of yours. Then log off and go do the actual transfer at your account management webpage.

2 questions: Is the bug still there where all your standings are reset when you make a char transfer?
Can one transfer a char back to its original account later on ?

Hmmmm....still not working. Same error.
I bought it with a different character, activated this account yesterday for the transfer, and get the same error. One downtime has passed since activating this account. Any suggestions?
