There's a Merc Forces guy who has good rupture load-outs....
Can't remember his name though. Dexter Rast or something.

Long range PVP: hi 4 720 or 650mm turrets 1 heavy launcher with cruise or torpedos 1 med launcher with defenders med afterburner shield booster tracking/range modifier low damage/tracking mods
short range PVP hi 4 425mm cannons 1 heavy launcher cruise missles 1 smartbomb (largest u can fit) med Microwarpdrive shield booster shield hardener low damage/tracking mods
oh and bring as many heavy/medium drones as u can carry! Plenty of ammo too!

Thanks, I can carry 2 heavy drones and 1 medium or 6 mediums...
Couple more questions if I may? Should I use Titanium sabots for ammo my usual with PVE or something else?
What about armor tanking? should I fill up all my low slots with tracking/damage mods or put in a med repairer?
Would a sheild amp be better then booster? What's the best hardner that I should try?
Thanks in advance!

You can't do cruise or torps on a Rupture. Best you can do is Heavys.

For a close range setup, Armor tank it. Med and Small repairer (named or tech 2 if you can manage) hardeners, Cap Relays.
For the Med- MWD, Stasis Web, Tracking Comp (or cap recharger/another web)
Also recommend using 220mm Vulcans or Dual 180mm Autocannons due to the better tracking, higher RoF and saves some PG for the armor tanking,. Be warned, you will burn through a lot of ammo this way.
As for the ammo, Sabots will work, or try EMP/Plasma

Daakkon has a fiarly good one - 10mn and a 100mn ab form the basis of it iirc. everything else fits around missiles.

Close, very close.
lot more to it than that for a zipster set up, but I don't think any set up you read about on the forums will be great, except ones that are easy to hink up like "ganka" and "tanka" geddon

IMO 720mm's in most cases are useless in pvp cos of the poor tracking. Regarding close range -Forget about using shield boosters and if you use a webifier you dont really need tracking mods. An unconventional set up is to use 100mn ab and 10mn mwd with assualt launchers and frigate blasters or something like that works well and you are hard to catch.
Using oversized ab's is most likely gonna be nerfed soon so a more conventional set up is :
hi : 2x 425mm scout/prototype 2x 220mm scout/protype 2x assault launchers (named)
Med: 10mn mwd Web 7.5 k srambler (all named)
Low: Medium armor repairer 2 400mm Nanofiber plates Energized adaptive nano membrane 2x gyro stabilizer 2
With the new damage bonus going to the Rupture then it will become pretty damn good me thinks. The autocannons although different have virtually the same range and damage. After some testing i found the sweetspot orbiting is between 2.5 - 5 km which is right in scramble range. The ammo i use is emp or phased plasma -good for shields and armor generally. Try and get some 'scout' autocannons if you can. Named equipment and high fitting skills are necessary but if struggling for grid maybe change it around by using all 4 220mm's or whatever.
Cap shouldn't be too much of a prob cos weapons don't use any and use the mwd only to get in range and you may wanna practice a zig zag approach so become less of a target when the sig radius penalty kicks in on mwd. When you web and scramble opponent and IF you are not webbed will need to reduce your velocity thus reducing transversal velocity - have scanner open at all times to keep an eye on tranversal vel as it is essential for projectile users.
You can also 'soften' some ships up by firing some missiles out of web/scramble range to strip their shields a bit then move in. Either 6 med drones or 2 heavy and one medium up to you.
Best thing for you to do is test out some set ups and tactics with a mate or something.

Thanks for all the tips :-)

Honestly the best way to use a Rupture, or any cruiser, is like a bigger more durable interceptor. This means fitting dual MWD or an MWD and a 100MN AB (while it lasts) and then frig guns. SInce you are using frig guns and not getting a bonus then you should go for the highest DOT guns (light nuetron blasters). If you want more range then go for a named 150mm Rail.
This is what I sometimes run:
4x Light Nuetron 2x 'Malkuth' Heavy Launcher
1x LiF AB 1x 10MN MWD 1x Webber
1x Medium I-a Repairer 2x PDU 1x Magna Stab 2
It will catch Interceptors and kill them fast. It will also beat other cruisers because they cant hit you at 1km (except a blasterrax).

I use an approach similar to the one mentioned by Alowishus on my Blasterrax, and I must say that it is extremely effective. Anyone who laughs at you for putting frigate-class weapons on your Rupture had better be sure they aren't in 0.0 when they do it, because speed and superior tracking wins.
