The top 3 damage producers of that engagment were caldari dreads. The fact is that missiles are still a very valid weapons system, and that to cry that the caldari race doesn't have PVP capabilities post-"nerf" is silly and full of fail. So be proud caldari, if you're really as weak as you say, then the other races are so nerfed it's not even funny! Originally by: MooKids I like them, I have an elite rating in HULL TANKING! They also have the largest number of players, the best ECM, the best tanking BC, a weapons system that isn't very skill intensive (Can train to t2 large weapons very quickly, as opposed to turent races that require two skills for every sized weapon, the largest millitia, and best dread aparently, and the best mission ships. Very few races can claim the best, or even second best, at so many things, and I probobly missed a few. :P Pardon the bad spelling, after midnight here and it's a small freaking keyboard. You are so right they have a great weapons platform, the fact that they can hit a target painted ship that starts out with the size of a small moon and with all the painting must have been the size of the average planet. You speak about a certain case, a capital fight, where capital torpedoes can't be less than good against capital ships, as they are slow and big. Missiles against conventional ships are screwed by their too low explosion velocity, and so can't shoot an ennemy of the same ship type at full damage. Caldari are not fine. ___________________ EVE "Community" become more like WoW each day, with his fanboy attitude. Simplistic logic, Lazy thinking, No capacity to comprehend same a justified whine...

Because one class of ship shooting citorps at the largest target in game is a great indication of overall balance.
