Its a teaser, only really showing the faces of the actors but considering they were saying this show was a no go not that long ago hopefully it will provide a good replacement to BSG.

People are still into BSG?
Good old Ronnie lost me back when he started to make horribly constructed parallels between the Iraq war, WWII and the fictional Human/Cylon conflict back at the beginning of season 3. I think the last episode I watched was one where they...hmm this forum doesn't have spoiler tag BBCode. Oh well.
I can't even imagine how they got a spin-off even after the original was canceled. |

It wasn't canceled, this was all they wanted to do.
Unlike some shows, which cling to the "next season" factor, rather than a complete story. I'm looking at you, Doctor Who.

Caprica sounds, and looks ****, I won't be watching it purely because I feel it will be so crap it will make BSG look crap in much the same way watching Episodes I-III has forever made episodes IV-VI of Star Wars less enjoyable for me purely by virtue of being part of the same storyline. Seriously I hate George Lucas for what he has done, but if I can draw 1 lesson out of the whole Star Wars fiasco it's not to watch spin offs and prequels, but just to be happy with the films/programs I enjoy.
And I really enjoy BSG, so will be avoiding Caprica like the plague.
Oh god I just remembered they made a fourth indiana jones film. It's the reason I cry now everytime I watch the original trilogy.
I hate George Lucas.
I hate him so much.

disgruntled television watchers itt
so what would you all suggest is better to watch? perhaps the latest regurgitation of law and order? maybe i'll record the new ecw / ghosthunters marathon 
hell, it doesn't look FANTASTIC but it looks interesting enough to give a chance.
i learned my lesson about judging too soon. i made fun of both eve and SG1 before i gave either a chance. both turned out to be fav pastimes
