Latest Celestial Apocalypse video is available at the following link
Video
It features footage from our last campaign in the Great Wildlands against the Curse Alliance. There were a lot more good fights there that sadly werenÆt frapsed. Some won, a few lost.
The Video was made by Loctar and the music wonÆt be to everyoneÆs tastes. Apparently the music is Das boot.
Thanks to Alcatraz, Black Omega, Spectral knights and VOTF for putting up some good fights. IÆm sure we will return if we ever get bored of our 14 pirate wars.

Think this is the first video Ive seen where there is a clear difference in numbers in the conflict - nice to see some one going after a superior force and doing damage

Umm...no....it happens when you have more then 8 modules(weps, scramblers, etc...) on 1 target and theres no room for more then 8 along the side of the targeting picture so it shows it in the up right of your screen, fraps or no fraps.

meh nothing particularly amazing; was suffering form the usual faults (typos - someone cant spell apocolypse! or tyrannical and blurry action) on the plus side you did move in closer which was nice to see and showed the action pretty well.
ive never seen das boot so i have to say that the music was pretty bad, but thats just me
beyond that it seemed like a standard fighting video - Celes going in against enemies with greater numbers yet Celes prevailed, blah blah blah.

yeah pretty much every video that comes along these days is all about "oh look at us, aren't we so good at eve" and thats what this is. i agree it is a variation on a theme being that celes may have been outnumbered but the fact remains that celes are trying to show how good they are even against a larger force.
im just giving my opinion on the video, you cant please everybody all the time, but thats what makes a good argument

but we dont mine and whats fun watching someone mine? i mean i find it super boring to do why would i want to watch someone else do it
and tbh the last fight in e02 was a kinda of a loss at 2:2 bs losses(i think not 100% sure)altho i arrived just in time to be part in killing the apoc (was very late ) and considring the song i actually wanted to have a clip on the end that i died
but sorry i dident die...
and if u listen to the music and look at the vid u might see what i aimed for when making it

Just a few points:
1. Celest is a PvP corp, we make PvP videos. Thus no mining, hauling etc.
2. The M.corp video was a recruitment video, that's why it had a little bit of everything. It's incredible, but then again Zond3 did not log on for weeks when he was editing it, Loctar logs on to fight every day.
3. It's very hard to fraps and fight at the same time (since if you zoom out or in on another ship you can't effectively pilot your own ship). We don't have a dedicated camera man, which is what drunkenmaster was at the incidents you mentioned, which is why the footage was maybe better.
I think this is definitely one of the better PvP vids, since it didn't concentrate on ego-boosting ganking, and it had a bit of a story in it too.
Oh, and the music fit it perfectly IMO. We've had far too many nu-metal PvP vids already.
PS. Boonaki pulled a very nice Battle Badger Vs. Taranis recently... too bad he couldn't fraps it.

err.. I was heading up after shooting some npc when i was asked if i wanted to help out. So the answer to your question is no, it's not uber at all But it's a great setup when u hunt npc's though.
I was really lucky to get out alive since i hadn't insured that apoc at the time when the video was taken.
It was gr8 fun though - hope to meet celest again ... and again

It's just that it's a tricky piece to make fit well with a movie since it has rather a lot going on in the actual song - the music should only at most take one third of the viewers' attention, it should be a complement, a means of highlighting the visual action.
Nice vid though, overall.

our enemies have a habbit of using frigs to scramble one our ships:)....
we make it standard practice to launch drones asap....
makes the enemy get all panicy, they see them and they wet their pants and forget to put hardeners on and activate modules:)..

I think this happens when you have 8 modules active on a ship target and activate the 9th one, sometimes!
The targeting icon only shows 8 (so if all 8 weapon slots are active then the medium slots like ECM don't appear there).

I think the vid and music was gr8, even tho i am a heavy freak. Really nice to see the furiousness in gr8 battles, where pros are at work. Gr8 job. Thank you for podding Fragm btw, as he podded my 2 day old geddon while mining(i have only played for 2 months), tho i took it as a man, and congratulated him. He should have done the same when u got him(hope u dont mind i cross over two topics).
Furthermore i agree with Loctar about the M-corp vid, its crisp, but kind of boring, while urs is frantic and heavy duty. Good luck outthere CA...

we hope to even show u footage of us losing a fight, with maybe me going down in flames, i know, VERY unlikely..
