Hi all,
Recently I've started a new game in Jita, and because of the interest / questions I'm getting (and limited space to explain / answer everything in my bio) I've decided to make this thread.
INDUS' GAME THE RULES The game is a straightforward game of speed. if you're typing skills suck you may want to work in them first before playing. If you're lagging fairly bad, I wouldn't suggest playing at all.
The Number Each round I will announce that the "Number" is about to be displayed. The number could be anything from 1 - 10000000 (currently the cap is set at 10 million). Most often it will be something obscure, like 542376 or 89733 or 6683423 etc....
When you see this number, you send that amount of isk to me as fast as you can. The first three people to deposit the CORRECT AMOUNT in my wallet receive PAYOUTS.
The Payouts First Person to Deposit Correct Amount = Triple Isk Payout Second Person = Double Isk Payout Third Person = Isk Refund (you lose nothing)
Everyone after the third person loses their bet. So the less people playing, the better chance you'll have of winning.
REMEMBER: Only the correct isk amount wlll get you a payout. So be quick, but be accurate.
The Rounds Each GAME is played in Ten ROUNDS. I will announce the start and end of each round, posting the winners. The FIFTH ROUND is always a bonus round, which includes a special prize (usually a ship or blueprint randomly selected before the game). Note: You must be in or come to station 4-4 in Jita to open trade with me and claim your prize.
FAQ: Is this a scam? No, this is a GAME. Your odds of winning go up and down depending on the number of players and you're ability to enter accurate numbers quickly, however there ARE ALWAYS THREE WINNERS. Of course, as we all know, Jita is the hotbed for scammers, but it also happens to be the high-traffic hub of EVE, where new and veteran players alike can be found, and for this reason the game is played there.
You're obviously someone's alt? How can I trust you? For starters, my main resides in an established, well-known alliance, and can generate in FAR MORE isk in the hour it takes me to administer a game. Betting ranges are usually low numbers, from a few hundred thousand isk to the low millions - not gigantic payouts. This is done to allow new players to EVE the chance to participate in the gambling as well.
If you're still hesitant, just ask the previous winners, and they'll be more than glad to confirm that I'm legit --> http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=999396
Okay, so what happens if I mess up and send the wrong amount of isk? Mistakes happen. If you type in 99 million and you meant 9 million, I'll refund the mistake portion of your bet.
Yeah, right. If you don't believe me or still aren't comfortable, please don't play. My hopes with this game and others I intend to try is the establishment of some simple fun gambling in EVE. I'd like to explore the possibilities of opening a casino when ambulation comes to fruition, and setting up an honest gambling game is the first step toward that goal.
Previous winners are always posted in these forums. Here's the link again. http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=999396
I'll be updating it with the results of each game. If you still have questions for me, or would like to make suggestions / comments, you can EVE mail me in game or put em down here.
PLEASE NOTE: Because of the rising popularity of this game, some scammers have started "replicating" the INDUS' GAME model, without the intention of honoring any payouts. Unfortunately, because I've been blocking them for the last three years, I don't always see the scams. Be sure it's me - "Indus Mono" - and not anyone else, or you could be scammed.
I'm out of characters again, so that's all for now. Thanks, and I hope to see you in game.
