Why don't we have folders in station items? I know you can buy the station containers, but it's just not the same. Not to mention that you have to shell out the isk for them everywhere you go and they show up in your assets at every station you bought them at even though all you wanted was to organize your inventory |

We're talking about a digital inventory system. Folders should be a given. |

Or, simply tabs...
Like the corporation hangar, but instead of having seperate hangars for each tab you have tabs filtering your single hangar.
One for all items, then 3-4 default ones, like weapons, minerals, ammo etc. and then up to x amount of user created tabs that simply filters the table/hangar after item groups, market group, low/mid/high, specific items etc.
Each tab, except for "All" being completely customizable. |

Not really because every item in your hangar occupies space. That space is measured in cubic meters, m3 hence why the different sizes of containers.
Folders are a crappy idea that makes this unrealistic space game even worst. |

How about let us choose the station in the Station Tab in the Assets? Would be awesome. |

It's not being done (right now) because the code doesn't currently allow for virtual containers GÇö the easiest way to solve the issue with the new unified asset system.
Also, learn the difference between GÇ£worseGÇ¥ and GÇ£worstGÇ¥. GÇ£If you're not willing to fight for what you have in GëívGëí you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.GÇ¥

Well said. I was gonna respond to him, but I didn't want to feed the troll. |

If I recall correctly one of the UI ideas shown at fanfest had folders for items in stations. So I'd say at least one of the devs have considered it. |

That's just how they will represent containers in the new unified asset system. Actual folders are still not part of it, but as mentioned, if they could squeeze GÇ£virtual containersGÇ¥ in there, it would rather solve the entire issue.
It would kind of be like how most OSes these days abstract away packed files as if they were standard directories, only the exact opposite. GÇ£If you're not willing to fight for what you have in GëívGëí you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.GÇ¥
