Not a bad idea, but that would have to be very carefully balanced with a pretty stiff stacking penalty, or maybe fairly high grid requirments, to prevent interceptors from becoming untouchables.

Honestly, you should put your Apoc in a hangar for a few weeks, before you lose it, just the time needed to train: electronics/engeneering to 5 heavy drone to 3 drone interfacing to 3 Weapon upgrade to whatever is needed to drop the CPU enhancer. ...

I'd say it's ok to shiled tank a Typhoon IF you need powergrid for 4 1400mm and stay the hell away from anything who ca nhurt you seriously, but if you want to go medium to close range armor tanking is a must.
