What's the general consensus re: efficiency (speed+LP)? Dual-boxing Level 4's, I can choose two marauders/faction bs' that total about 2k dps for hi-sec.
In low-sec, unprobeable fits hit for less than 1k with both accounts combined, with a 30% range decrease on weapons.
Anyone with experience doing both who could chime in and give me the low-down would be great. |

Have done neither of what you propose, but which if them is most profitable comes down to how much isk you get for your LP I would guess. My guess is they will net fairly similar ammounts of isk(unless someone camp you in lowsec), and a slightly higher risks for the t3:s (yes even unprobable). Of the two I would definitly go with the option for 2 marauders in highsec (and I hate beeing in highsec).
If you want to mission in lowsec for isk, get in a corp that is not a wet paper towel and fly 'normal' missionrunning ships in lowsec(Marauder/t3(dps-fit)/faction BS). If you do not like the pvp you will encounter and the extra risk this will mean for you, then highsec is better suited for you and will net you more isk then when hiding in unprobable t3:s (which will still die to halfdecent gatecamp or a lucky solo pirate).
0.02 isk

A 3rd account scouting and high-quality agents keeping kill missions in the same system should negate most of the risk I would think?
One of my accounts is at the tipping point (min bs V, caldari cruiser V) of training for a maxed mach or a maxed tengu, hence the questions.

Tbh, I would say either take the risk of running in a missionrunning setup tengu (not unprobable that is), and just blitz the lowsec missions. With 2 gankfit tengus.... most missions should be done very quick. This is assuming you have some lowsec experience so you don't die too fast to pies. Also, knowledge of which people in the area that likes to probe missionrunners down is an important part, as spamming directional spammer is not something you will want to do for any prolonged time. But again, it's a matter of what level of risk that is acceptable to you. If you're only going to accept missions in your agents system, that is another thing that will pull down your isk/hour. So again, for best isk I would say either stay safe in empire in marauders, or risk it in proper t3:s in lowsec (assuming you have the piloting skills for it).

Edited by: Lugalzagezi666 on 24/01/2011 19:22:36 Unprobeable t3s ARE PROPER t3s and there is absolutely no reason not to use them for lowsec missioning.
For the op - depends on your isk/lp, if you can get good isk/lp, lowsec missions will give you better isk/h, if not, it will be about the same /considering you can efficiently dualbox 2 missions simultaneously with your accounts, 2 gank bses in 1 mission is just waste/.
PS : if you decide for lowsec missions, get proper instaundocks from your missioning stations E : also i hope that by "t3s" you mean tengus, because rest of t3s arent really close to performance of tengu in pve

You'll end up making a hell of a lot more isk per hour in low sec if you are getting good isk per LP even with the reduced dps. I went from using golem + domi in high sec (combined dsp about 1700) to using a solo tengu (~600 with non-scourge fury missile)...don't think I'll ever do high sec again unless they nerf unprobeable.
