Hello Folks,
I'm currently exploring all over eve, and i keep running into pretty mining sites with rather lucrative ores. Mining is not my idea of fun however, so i don't even try to clean out those sites myself.
Now i'm trying to sell these sites and i run straight into a very simple wall; everybody expects any sale like this to be a scam.
Considering the amount of evidence they get that that site truly exists, and that it's worth buying, i can understand that completely.
Now, that means that i have to figure out some way of achieving a level of credibility when selling sites. The question is, how do i go about that?
So far i've only managed to come up with the following options; 1) find a trusted 3rd party who is willing to jump to the site and verify it's contents 2) hand the site over to someone for free, and hope they pay me after they've verified it's contents.
I can see problems with both setups; Nr. 1 requires a trusted person who has nothing better to do than jumping around in low sec looking for a site. The fee for this would probably consume any profits i'd make on the sale Nr. 2 obviously exposes me to being scammed myself. I'd rather not have that :P
So, did i miss any of the more obvious ways of trading this kind of information? Thank you for your suggestions.

You have some other problems in the first place. hi sec grave sites are worthless, mining low-ends gives more isk.
mining in low sec, even hidden grav sites, is deathly risky. So only residents, that can secure the mining op will bother doing this. But they will find that site on their own, anyway.
for null sec basicaly its the same.

You've hit the basic 'trust-wall'. And it works both ways.
If these sites are otherwise worthless to you, however, then perhaps it's you who can take the risk.
The best thing I can suggest is that you try to see if you can find a group of happy little miners in any particular region and see if you can deal with them. You have the 'high ground' - you can see what is there and have an idea of the value. You then just handover the location.
They come along and mine it on the basis of cutting you in for a share and they pay you after. You have to have a realistic view of the cut you can expect and the value of the Ores/Mins. Ask for too big a share and it will no longer be worth them mining it in the first place.
Also don't forget that for some of the higher value Ores many in empire won't have the skills to refine them. In short, the best thing you can probably do is try to build up relationships with those you deal with - and trust will follow. This is, after all, a Corporate game - and one of business relationships.

My Corp may be interested in this. I will attempt to contact you in game and we can discuss. BTW, we run in the JITA area and would only be interested in high-sec belts.

I would guess that part of the problem with such sites is that it is very easy to over-value them by ignoring the opportunity cost of the person mining them mining something else at a belt instead.
Back to your original point, though, you would need to find some miners and build up a relationship of trust which is worth more than any individual site.
Which probably starts by giving them the site location based on their agreement to pay you once it is mined.
Either they are trust worthy, and you are good to go, or they are not, and you can set them -10 and pew pew them when you next see them. The nice thing about miners is that they have to undock to do stuff.

Ranges,
With most things its about reputation. If people don't know you and you can't give people multiple contacts in multiple corporations its hard to trust with all the scams. I think you would find a small niche market for this with younger mining/production corporations that don't have access to 0.0 or low sec minerals and would prefer to be self-sustaining rather than hauling bulky trit to sell and then buy megacyte/zydrine etc..
Trying to sell this to larger corporations that have the logistics in place I feel you will have a harder time finding buyers.
Lyrix Industries may be interested in working out some sort of agreement for any fields you may have found in certain regions. Send me an eve-mail in regards to regions you've located some and will see if that is close to some of our base of operations.
Pending on how the transaction(s) went I would be willing to be your first POC for people to contact and ask about your reputation/honesty etc..
Eve-mail me in game and we can talk more about this if you are interested.
Safe travels and good business.
