There are no laws about making fun of stupid people in any country. You're missing my point.
And you are missing the fact that nothing in the alliance panel should be taken seriously. |

They must permanently ban Alexander Gianturco (Mittani) - CCP need to send a strong message.
On what?
That its players cannot joke (badly) about mails they get? That getting drunk before doing a speach might not be a good idea?
I have watched the panel and quite frankly all of you people bitching about this sound exactly the same as the people who bitched about clarkson when he said strikers should be shot. Its your own sense of humour failing and PC mad ramblings you should look at here. The only ones deserving of a ban are all of the alt posters trying to stir **** all the time about Goons. |

Wait, when did I say that? |

Jada Maroo wrote:If Mittens gave out the guy's personal information and encouraged people to harass him in real life, then I have no problem with CCP banning him. I saw it, but I didn't hear the guy's name (wasn't listening to it carefully). So I'm just going by what people are saying.
He went too far and he's not off limits for punishment.
No personal info was given and a (bad) joke was made when someone requested the in game name. If anyone is stupid enough to acctually send mails to the guy then they are the ones who should be banned.
This is a whole lotta fuss over nothing. |

He still acted wrongly by inviting other players to contact him and further harass. He could have left it at a joke by not doing this and it would have been amusing, tears usually are. By giving others the means to continue the ridicule he made a bad decision. What happens is up to CCP but it does look bad for them now unfortunately.
Anyone who did not see this as a joke and have started to actually spam this guy deserve to be banned for stupidity. |

Definitely, but it could have been avoided, he is supposed to be a representative of the player base after all, showing the mail would have been a good joke had the character's details been sanitized. He was drunk, making a joke in front of a load of players, laughing at the supposed tears of someone who had been ganked, fine. The incitement wasn't required.
Bad joke. Its nothing more. See them all the time on alliance forums everywhere. |
