Hi,
I noticed that fighters mwd is not affected by warp scramblers.
Is this intended and/or will it be changed ?
I am sort of torn apart between which option is the best ... But i'd say it would be more consistent to shut down fighters and drones mwd with a scrambler ... I would hate to see mine dies to that tho, but well.

How so ?
Oh, I didn't ? But you thought you would sound cool saying that. Allright.
Look, I'm not saying its the best idea ever, i'm saying it would be more consistent. And I'm just look for opinions.
I've you are so much of a lame-ass lowlife jerkoff troll wannabe to say your opinion without calling me stupid, just shut the hell up.
Thanks.

Maybe so. I'm a drone user too.
That said, would'nt you love it to scram a fighter and pop it to stop that silly carrier to send and recall drones endlessly ?

lol ... I don't know you. How do you expect me to know if you are sarcastic or serious without hearing your voice tone or knowing you.
But hey, it could be a nice feature to add to the forum, a sarcasm-o-meter. Can set the lvl for each post, need sarcasm lvl 1 to use.

Don't they shut down their MWD on their own when orbiting? How many situations are there that have them both in scram range and MWD on?

Oveur, in spandex, slinging mud on Zulupark. Giefv. Oh, and I'm talking about mud(wrestling). What were you talking about?
As for scrambler and Fighters, honestly, I would love it if Fighters got alot of buffs from their current state. Last time I sent a bunch out, they were shot down before they came back - and I ordered them back same second they started to take fire.
Consistency? Maybe add that feature. But at least give them five times at much hp before you even consider anything like that.

I can imagine an assault frigate pilot going "Oh yeah? So you have Warrior IIs, We'll see about that" and then proceeding to scramble the drones.
...
Only to see the other guy burning away from him, and toasting him because he no longer has the transversal velocity advantage

If he is in an assault frigate and the other can burn away from him with a MWD -> he uses an AB -> the warrior II don't use a MWD to orbit -> scrambling them is pointless.
I don't see a problem allowing to scram drones and fighters. The only ship benefitting from that would be interceptors, because they force the drones to burn the mwd the whole time to stay in range. Which would lead to a "get in range, get scrambled, drop out, get in range ..." cycle for ONE drone. The most likely 4 other drones will still be firing and also have the occasional help of a fifth.

He wont get much extra time while the drone/fighter moves away unless he specifically chases that one fighter. I call that pretty much impractical.

Sigras was right on.
Imaos, who said you have to chase them all ? On a ship with no spare, taking one out, then another, can make a big difference.
While you call that impractical, in the case of fighters I call that one fighter down, 15mils isk gone, and a carrier pilot that will think twice before sending them on me again.
Also, you have to stay alive long enough to bring that one fighter low enough on hp before he consider recall it. He might leave all the others on you to finish you off as well.
Its not that bad ... I mean, before you could web recalled drones and pop em, why is it that bad that we could still do it ?

I said chase, because if you dont chase them they are still fast enough to leave scramble range unless you move in the same direction.

I didn't say it would be bad to be able to scram drones/fighters and kill them. What I tried to say was that even if it is possible it is still a rare case as the webs where much better than the scrambler is now.

Of course, but if you chase them, got a web and a mwd/ab, its pretty easy. But yes, on the other hand, just scramming them isnt a guaranteed kill.

Yes, thats right, webs were much better than the scram is now, if it was even working.
But the thing is, now, web doesnt work good enough, and scrams doesnt work at all. Short of double webs and mwd to it, you ll never stop it from going back.
That is why i think that cutting off their mwds with a scram would be fairly reasonable. With scram + web it is pretty much like what just a web was before.
I'm not trying to whack your head with a phonebook here, I am also just trying to put my point in words.
Edit : typo
