8. Nethack - in Out of Pod Experience [original thread]
The best rogue-like game I've played is URW (UnrealWorld) It's more of a survival-iron age kinda sim. It's really sweet, so if you like nethack and want something more involved than just killing stuff I can definatley recommend it :)
