1. Hurricane for 0.0 ratting - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Anell on 17/04/2008 14:12:29 I wouldn't want to fly a hurricane without a Damage Control II. So whatever skills are needed for that. If your doing 0.0 ratting your probably going to need tech 2 armor rep and guns. So you need skil...

2. The Tempest - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I always thought the Rupture looked more like a sailing ship, granted without the sale part. It even has the big backend like a ye ol' galleon.

3. Harbinger VS Hurricane - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Hurricane for 2 reasons, 1) Amarr smells 2) Hurricane looks awesome Also less cap issues. Plus medium artillery does decent alpha when hitting those frigates farther then 15k or farther then 7k so long as someone has a target painter.

4. Rifter (level 2 missions) - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Personally I think you are being a bit silly about this. Yes there are level 2 missions where a rifter will work fine, but I also think there are level 2 missions where you will be hit with enough alpha damage to pop a T1 frigate before you can ge...

5. Rifter OR Punisher for solo lowsec experience? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I'm a huge fan of the rifter and others have suggested great setups for that already. I will say however that you should probably give up the idea of solo pvp in a rifter. To take out a cruiser in that ship you are basically going to need to find ...

6. Hurricane Level 3s Setups - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Most peoples setups are fine here. I use 3 hardners in the lows and armor tank it. As for mids, keep in mind that in level 3's you are going to be fighting a lot of frigates. Even a 650 is going to have problems tracking them. So for mids I have b...

7. I need a fast ship..... - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Anell on 15/03/2008 18:25:06 If you don't have skills for an interceptor/don't want to buy one then your best bet is just to take a Vigil and put 3 overdrives in the lows, a mwd and 2 cap rechargers in the mids and whatever for the ...

8. cheap mining barge - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
The weakest ORE mining barge (forgot its name) only costs around 5 million. The part that will slow you down are the skill reqs. I think it needs: Industry V Science IV Astrogeology III By the time you have those skills 5 million won't be too mu...

9. stabber fittings - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Anell on 13/02/2008 22:57:44 A rupture has more armor and more powergrid. The main thing that a stabber has going for it is that its fast and cheap. You will see them used as disposable ships in pvp for that reason. At any rate I h...

10. Fiiting a Mammoth for high-sec hauling - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Anell on 13/02/2008 18:20:11 What exactly do you plan to do with this? In high sec you are not going to get ganked unless you are carrying an awful lot of good stuff, and since you are new thats probably not going to be the case. By...

11. Minmatar Ratting Cruiser? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I agree you should get a Rupture, they are the best minmatar cruiser around. They are also quite ugly (and I like most minmatar ships) but if your flying a bellicose the rupture might actually be an improvement . Things to do to increase your da...

12. New Min pilot looking for advice - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
The Rupture is the best cruiser in the minmatar lineup. But its also pretty darn ugly and not particularly cheap (for a cruiser). I flew one for a while but these days when I need a cruiser I go for my Stabber. It costs almost half the price and c...

14. Purple / Green Spot - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Hello, I am running a fairly up to date computer with a x1950 512mb card. For the most part I can run trinity with no issues at all and good fps. However every so often (most often when the ship is flying over another structure in deadspace or wh...

15. Lv2 noob Thrasher setup? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I'd recommend not using a destroyer for level 2 missions. Yes you can do it, but its a lot easier (not to mention more possible with the harder missions) to use a cruiser. Plus cruisers are spiffy. I suggest getting a stabber, they are pretty fast...

19. cloaking devices? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I am going to go ahead and jump on this thread as well and ask a cloaking question. I have no experience with cloaking right now but Electronics V should finish training tomorrow so I will be buying a cloaking device shortly. My question is this:...

20. Frigates for a pvp tourny - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Anell on 18/01/2007 02:54:59 I like ice's rifter setup but I would add a gyrostab for one of the low spots. Keep the armor repair though. edit: obviously this is a different style of fighting then what you are used to with 250mm ar...
