energized nano are great enough if you train all 4 new armor passive hardening skills to lvl4 there should be passive shield omni armor hardener that gives 25% bonus to all without activation costs (tech2)

they give very small bonus to shield and armor resistances, not worth for armor tankers (twice lower than energized nano) and for shield tankers dont worth much as another pduII is worth more only it structure resistance would be worth anything, ...
