Yes, it can snipe. It's just that the Tempest as a sniper is a very delicate balance of range, damage, tracking, and tank.

Fly a Sacrilege. They can tank and kill angel rats pretty well. Or use projectiles on your battleships.

What the heck? People put projectiles on other ships (lolamarr) because of the no cap use. You dont put cap using weapons on a ship that has a capacitor designed to work with no cap weapons.

I think this question is about "best" range... like the range where you do the best damage based on tracking and falloff and speed. Not the optimal gun attribute. To find that is mostly a matter of experience. You can do the math on everything or...
