all this talk about galentte being the uber race to be atm rather smacks of what i have heard over the last few years off all the other races, Amarr with their Gankageddon,Caldari with missiles in general (Kessie, Caracal, Raven, Scorpion, Moa.......

the Gallentte Counterpart is only better if you want to spend ages training the skill, if you want a good Indy Fast the amarr/Caladri/Minmatar are better choices IMHO
