3. api.eveoneline.com not responding? - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Has anyone else found this as annoying as I have? Their HTTPS server seems to be about 10x slower than their HTTP server used to be... and for PUBLIC information (i.e. stuff that does NOT require an api key) it can be frustrating to have all my st...

5. Crucible database dump - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
I've been using the eveOwners table to detect and display the bloodline (and therefore race too) of each individual agent. You can see an example here: http://www.eveiverse.com/agents/akinoma_nimpalius Another side effect of losing bloodline in...

6. Robot Broker? - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
The API cannot change anything in the game, it is strictly read-only, and always will be as long as the CCP company exists. I imagine this might make what you want impossible?

8. Map Plotting Help - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Creating "nice looking" maps is a bit of an art really, as well as a bunch of math, and a whole lot of data manipulation. You need to be good at all these things to do well at it. You probably don't just want a few dots, but you also want to link...

9. EVE in 40 inch LCD tv (problem) - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Or even smaller screens... the problem is not how big the screen is, but the higher pixel density of your particular screen (i.e. how small the pixels look from the distance you are standing from your screen). This problem will only get worse an...

10. Faction/Corporation Logo's from the Dump - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Yeah, it is a bit ridiculous isn't it... I based mine off of http://wiki.eve-id.net/CrpNPCCorporations to help resolve the inconsistencies. I think that list was made up manually before they included any such data in the data dump.

12. AU to KM converter - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Sheesh, people are so harsh. There's no need to be rude to the new guy.... It's great that you're learning programming. But it is very unsafe (think: viruses, keyloggers!) for you to download executables from people you don't know and trust reall...
