Really? I could have sworn that last time I looked at the info page for AM (small) ammo it said it did 7 EM damage in addition to the others.

In case no one mentioned it yet, in response to the posters who have said hybrids do kinetic and thermal, check your stats on antimatter ammo, as I recall it does huge EM damage in addition to kinetic and thermal.

Can someone describe for me how to use smartbombs as part of a ganking scheme? I've read people mentioning it but don't understand how it's done, how to catch fast ships in the damage radius, what ships are good at it, etc.
