I had a similar problem. I got to play for a few minutes then I froze and could not reboot the client. I cleared the preference folder, and the problem is fixed... but I am getting lag (I am assuming this is from everyone logging on and will wait ...

Yup, what he said. K162 is just an exit. Any other name is an entrance. The static wormhole as I understand it will not be named k162 when you are in W-space. This is because the static wormhole is an "entrance" leading out to K-space.
