This particular market scam has been known for quite some time. See also: you cannot into common sense, too good to be true, etc. Still can't believe people fall for this **** all the time. And it literally takes no effort to watch over this stuff.

In my experience, meta 4 items only seem to change value significantly when an expansion comes out, because that is the only time balance changes are made (new ships / mechanics / items introduced).
