It is not running by default. As someone mentioned it might be a possible "fix" to start a BT client and put a large file transfer to "paused", it could help supressing the error. However, even with and without that client running it occurs.

Really it hasn't got anything to do with blaming. For me, it started occurring since that last patch. I've been in this game for 5 years now and have always had the same ISP. Never had this problem until the last patch landed.

Right, So ever since the last patch was released, I'm occasionally getting the "Error socket closed" dialog. For some reason it seems to appear twice in the same client. If i'm running multiple clients at the same time, they both get the error. ...

In case you missed it.. there was one of the biggest conflicts in EVE.. North vs South.. 25000 vs 25000 and guess what? Server could not handle it.. First attempt to take a station resulted in a system with more players in it then Jita ever saw ...

Problem is that 0.0 warfare is about big fleets because it's how CCP made sov work. In the past, even more then 2 years ago, it was no problem 2 fleets (350 vs 350) would fight... sure there was alot of lag but the server did not crash. And it is ...

Well.. if it worked before check for a virus or spyware on your PC. Second, get more ram and install Vista x64 or Windows 7 x64. And 3th, get a SSD.. Vista will boot within 3 sec with a SSD
