I don't think they have the power too. I think the devs have to go in and create a manual patch to the game to remove it. And seeing as how patches take a while to come out, it could take a few weeks.

It takes money to research. What's so hard to understand about that? If you make money, you will be able to afford the slots. And if nobody researches tech I BPOs, who cares? Labslots are simply going to the players with the money and power to us...

I actually like this idea. It would be nice to selectively target certain areas of the ship. It would add a bit more variety to combat as it would be possible to cripple an opponents strategy midfight.
