Actually i am talking about a mechanic of the game itself, an NPC corp giving out loans and automatically handling all the details. Not player owned corps giving loans out and scamming ppl.

My suggestion is this: The only "hard asset" i could thing of is ships, more specifically the platinum insurance value of a ship. This should be able to be "mortgaged" to the bank. That way if the ship is destroyed the isk from the insurance aut...
