Ah... I remember... Way back when in 2007/08 or so, when I was telling people that the Drake was a more than adequate PvP ship, as long as you fitted it properly (non of these OMFG I CAN TANK THE FIRES OF HELL setups) and didn't have any illusions...

Don't waste your ISK putting CDFE on a pvp drake. Keep it cheap, keep it expendable. I've toyed with HAM PvP setups and while they do get a slight bonus in damage over HML, the short range really makes them rather useless, especially on a slow lum...

Caldari ships can PvP. It just takes a bit of imagination and non-standard setups. But yes, they did get the ass-end of the stick when it comes to PvP.
