not sure about your service but kinda sounds like a bad filter. Filter that separates voice from data etc or a bad splitter making just enough interference to drop the connection . kinda have the same problems in u.s with dsl and bad phone filters...

try using a program like ping plotter free version just to monitor how many hops away from eve you are and if you are going through a bad router somewhere . if you enter eves ip u will see your ping to server etc also.. shred
