I've seen it both ways, figured i didn't need to. I ran all four, and changed *msvcr80, *msvcr90, and *msvcr100 to builtin, native. I'm still getting the same errors. Do I need to rip out my wine prefix and start over?

I'm glad I'm paying for eve month by month (I was buying a year at a time), because if this happens I don't know for how much longer this game will be playable, but I'm sure it won't be very long.

What do you, I break down and ask for help, and then I finally figure it out on my own. I uninstalled the nvidia-173 drivers, which also uninstalled nvidia-common. That reduced my number of errors, but I still had some. I did some more googling ...
