1. In case you were leaving EVE for Star Wars "The Old Republic"...... - in Out of Pod Experience [original thread]
Well if this game is as the two guys in here testing it say, I will be clinging to my Eve and screaming as the themeparks close in.

2. In case you were leaving EVE for Star Wars "The Old Republic"...... - in Out of Pod Experience [original thread]
Edited by: Thamul on 31/08/2011 02:39:59 Bottom line is there are two styles of game. Flash... and Hardcore. I think that SW looks like it will be fluff and candy. I prefer my killing bloody and without mercy.

3. In case you were leaving EVE for Star Wars "The Old Republic"...... - in Out of Pod Experience [original thread]
If by "many eve players" you mean about 100, then yes, "many eve players" have left for Perpetuum. I was almost one, but I noticed that all the Eve players in Perpetuum were just really bittervet whiners who were a few steps from burning out on...

5. War dec tatics - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
Edited by: Thamul on 07/07/2011 23:33:42 My suspicion is that this would be considered an exploit. I would suggest a petition to CCP to sort out whether they are ok with that sort of tactic.

6. Drinking is actually productive at these sort of events - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Chogon has got that right, as does OP. CSM may have been flown out there to calm us down. There is no reason they can't pursue an agenda that helps the players out, however, and drinking with CCP employees at night is going to end up with some co...

8. An overdue apology and request for parley - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
This is all I feel will happen now. CCP is going to tell us they are backpedaling from their newsletter. This will be a LIE. They will guarantee us no game changing MT. They will later do it, as their promise is a LIE. The bottom line is th...

12. Hull tanking Navythron - in EVE Alliance Tournament Discussion [original thread]
If your BSes (or whatever primary DPS) are taking significant damage then your fleet set up has already been broken by the other team. Hull tanking gives you time. Time that you're are not guaranteed to have if you're using your fleet to actively...
