101. Armageddon Testing - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Well, I don't really know the specs in my head, but the Apoc has higher base cap, and the nifty capacitor skill bonus, which I think enables it to tank well over 25% "better" than an Armageddon? The Armageddon is a superior damage dealer, the Apoc...

102. Armageddon Testing - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Originally by: Beseb That 8th mod gives you about 9.5% add to total DPS (5% dmg mod and about 4.5% RoF). Pretty worthwhile if going for the holy grail of damage. Still doesn't explain how the Armaggedon achieves three times the damage...

Originally by: Hellek Val: Its cause people fit up to 8 damage mods. Last I checked, a single damage mod did not give a 200% bonus. Especially not if it's the 8th in a series, it would be a barely notable bonus due to the stacking penal...

106. Armageddon Testing - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Isn't the rof bonus just 5% / level? I don't really see how the Armageddon can deal 3 times more damage than an Apoc with one less turret, 25% more rof (20% more likely) and one more damage mod (unless something is bugged!?). It would deal more da...

Originally by: Joe Blob make sure u got AMD proc and ATI gfx card, and u safe Good advice. I think for $1000 you would be able to score a GF 6800 Non-ultra which probably would be on par with the Radeon X800 XT in Doom 3. But yea...

110. Ok then, ATI it is, but which one??? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
You really, really don't need 256mb for EVE, and if it's for other games that do need 256mb, the 9600 XT core is to slow to run them well anyway (ie Doom 3). A 128mb 9800 Pro (I think they are about the same price) would be way better. I upgraded...

I've been a pirate since day one, so obviously i'm a bit biased. Compared to my usual proffesion, NPC farming is like a dream. It's like im just sitting there, being fed money without being in any danger of loosing anything except a drone or two. ...

Edited by: Valeria on 20/07/2004 11:58:39 NPC Hunting isn't risky. You could probably setup a macro that does it for you. Just start your large armor repairers and the only time you might be in danger is if you run into a Dread spawn, at which...

Maybe it's just me, but I think boosting the lucrativity of NPC hunting (which is already too high) just because a select few people are to lazy to mine low-end minerals in 0.0 space seems kind of completely... WACK?!? "Arr, we want to build Bsh...
