for informational purposes.. the sentrys you see in 0.0 at stations, generally will NOT fire on you unless you shoot the station it's self, the sentrys are there to protect the NPC station, i not sure if this applies to senrtys at gates in 0.0.

My friendly advice to you is this.. as a member of one of EVE's well know pirate/PvP corps, i would advise you to steer clear of PvP/pirating for a fairly long time, not many PvP corp's will take you in unless you have at very least 6mil skill ...
