Sure, you can go to null sec as 2 day old char, but yes, those big nasty NPC battleships are not something you can take on. PVE wise, you'll have to learn to walk before you can run. PVP now that's a different story... The 2 day old trial toon ...

The reason you can't train an industrial on a trial acount is because then it would be too easy for botters to make serious money with trial accounts, which are far easier to set up than a 'real' account. Create trial account, train up bestower, ...

When exploring, don't just explore 1 system and then call it quits. Explore 5-10 systems, and do the radars in these. it's the quickest way a low-sp character can earn a nice amount of isk with very little investment. An imicus or probe works wond...

I do exploration in a Probe ( T1 minnie exploration frig ). The imicus is better, since it has a little more firepower, but the probe does well enough in hi-sec. Ofcourse the only combat I see is rats guarding radar sites, so it's not all that muc...
