admittedly i do cheat a bit - i have tobias' modified large proton smart bomb with 9,100 range but i havnt seen any change in frigate or drone orbit distance....

u need 9km smarties to get 90% of friggies most orbit @ 7504m some at 6502m, some at 9002m, some guristas/caldarii ones orbit at 9502... but 90% are within 9km and that includes all the webby/scrambly ones i've encountered i use a 9100 m smart...

they drop from maru mikados VERY VERY rarely they live @ one of the moons in the same system the gate is they respawn really slowly (3 times a day) and one in 20 drops a slice (oh byw - they are macherial bships)

me and my mate did this missions in vagabonds but there is the issue that u can get caught on the structures and unable to move they need to move the beacon so that u comeout of warp 5 km away from the structure... not inside it if more that 1 ...

yes - i agree have you warp in 15 km infront of the structure not inside it! its hard to warp out of if your stuck between its walls (as happened to my wingman!.. couldnt align or warp cause he was stuck inside the structure!) Julius ceaser...
