581. T2 production, ineffecient markets, and the lack of social mobility - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Shirei For those 1-2 billion, you can buy yourself a Raven BPO you can then harvest for another 60 mil daily. Just because you are too lazy to do so does not mean it is impossible. Don't get me wrong, but calling othe...

582. T2 production, ineffecient markets, and the lack of social mobility - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
To be honest, the best thing that could happen to the game now, would be a mass introduction of new TL2 BPOs. It would not cause a mass increase in TL2 usage, because of the component / skill requirements of TL2, but it would definitely increase ...

584. T2 production, ineffecient markets, and the lack of social mobility - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Shirei Yes.. people who are lucky with the R&D lotto can get lucky and get a t2 BPO worth a few billion. Equally, people hunting NPCs in 0.0 can also get lucky and get an officer spawn with loot worth 1-2 billion. Do you a...

585. T2 production, ineffecient markets, and the lack of social mobility - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Shirei All big t2 production corps I know have actually bought the vast majority of their BPOs rather than getting them in the t2 lottery. They didn't get chosen at random to do so, but they chose to spend the majority of t...

586. T2 production, ineffecient markets, and the lack of social mobility - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Dianabolic If everybody had Tech 2 you are effectively widening the gap between those that have been training and in game longer - not those that put the most effort in. Yes, it needs tweaking, but once again - at no point E...

588. T2 production, ineffecient markets, and the lack of social mobility - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Artificially increasing the gap between the upper and lower classes in the game is not a good idea. In a game, you hope to achieve higher goals. One of them may be to operate a POS, or be a researcher. Being a researcher to improve already exsist...

Originally by: Rod Blaine Edited by: Rod Blaine on 17/05/2005 13:56:59 Well, you say a researcher should be guaranted a bpo after sufficient time passes. I say he should not. If I spend 5 days looking for an officer spawn to kill I ha...
