Especially seeing as how choosing any particular race, bloodline or stat will all be equal/vanilla/boring soon, why can't people change their pics to something else? Even something from the same Race, just diffferent bloodline??
There are probably a few thousand Achura who would love to give you 10 extra bucks for a facelift. And it wouldnt even require a pic from another race! Just another bloodline!
You make some cash, folks are happy, Win Win!

I don't see why this is something that should even be considered. Yeah CCP could make some isk but what about all the folks who role-play "lol", the bloodlines all have their own looks which is a key factor in what separates them. If what you suggest was implemented then we may as well just give people any racial look they want.

RP'ers can do wahtever they like (and often do I hear *wink wink nudge nudge*).
Srsly, if someone can't get around the fact that I'm an Achura that looks like a Civre (hmmm) then frankly their rp just sucks.

That's another thing. I am a vastly wealthy immortal power amongst the stars. I can afford almost anything I wish yet I can't afford sunglasses, or get a nip and a tuck, or a groovy helmet or tote a rifle.

Hopefully races are not just about "lol this bloodline ganks most so it's perfect to compensate for my gameplay".

I thought there was already a portrait swap-for-cash system in place? It looks like it although I don't know where the details are and don't care to look.

There is.
But you can only change your pic if you choose the same BLOODLINE, which generally makes it worthless for most people.

It's ALREADY IN THE GAME, DOOFUS.
<---There, on the sidebar. Go to "My Account".
Sign in.
Go to "Account Services".
Notice the option to SWAP PORTRAIT. Fee: $10.00 US.
Create a alt, of WHATEVER RACE YOU WNAT, looking however you wnat.
Go back to Account Services, pony up the $10, SWAP THE PORTRAIT, then delete the alt.
Problem solved, knowledge on your part gained, and you no longer look like a idiot for suggesting things that ARE ALREADY IN THE GAME, IF YOU BOTHERED TO LOOK.
So some research nect time, you won't be as much of a doofus.

No it's not doofus. Last time I tried it denied the pic I chose because it was the same race but a different bloodline.

Which is the OP's point: since that will no longer be relevant after the patch, why not allow for a complete swap of everything?

however, more to your point specifically, the majority of people pick Achura for the min/max possibility (and i'm as guilty as anyone as i have an Achura alt for exactly that reason) so i think you therefore lose all credibility and right to whine about how your character looks. you likely didn't pick it for any reason except to get a certain skillset, so just suck it up. if the look of your char had been that important to you at the time, you'd have picked a race that was visually appealing. but you didn't.
