If they pay you its not a fake contract, being "set up for a trap" means a fighting target, which makes it a very good contract at that.
More on the topic of kill boards, personally I really don't like them, I think generally kill-mails are bad mechanic, and reduce a chance for fights as more people get obsessed over k/d ratios, I think we would see more interesting fights if kill mails did not exist. That said, they are pretty much a must for a mercenary corp in eve today.

That goes back what I was saying earlier. Our smaller/chearer corporation doesnt have that advantage

All this concern over anonymity obviously tells me that you're in need of protection, Ishmmael.
Please contact Zhang Ramses in game (evemail or convo) and we can come to an arrangement whereby my mercenary corp will protect your mercenary corp. This contract will only cover instances where your anonymous alt's anonymous clients actually turn out to be former wartargets of your main characters.
