Interesting fit. To be honest, I had not really thought of using a shield tank because Gallente ships are traditionally armor tankers. I am looking forward to testing this shield tank Ishtar.
What drones do you usually carry with this setup UMEE?
./me needs to start thinking outside the box.

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
I don't like any of the fits here, nor will I post mine, but my "armor tanking" ishtar would completely face **** your shield buffered one.

But I'll give you a hint:

Is it so much better because you do not waste cap on the blasters? Or do you just have that much Epeen?

Nah, not the epeen. Don't care about that. If I did I wouldn't post w/ an alt =D
AC's have lower fitting requirements, have better range and as you said, use no cap.

it depends vert. i dont have any experience with sentry drones as im still training up T2's. overall, i think heavies are more versatile in small gang pvp. i do 5 ogre II's and 5 berserker II's, some warrior II's for frigates and some ECM drones.
ogres got the overall highest dps, but zerks can be absolutely devastating on ships with explosive resist holes (most). for example, id use ogre II's on an amarr BS, and zerks on all else.
the shield extenders are really there just to give you some buffer before you melt your target. i dont have experience with this fit, but i just wanted to throw out the highest possible dps this ship can do.
if i were you, id buy 10 vexors and experiment with different setups until you get the jist of it. it's basically a lesser version of the ishtar, but 25 times cheaper...so u can play around with it.

In all honesty, an ishtar doesn't even need guns fitted. The ones you can actually fit are pretty much worthless anyways and gimp the tank too much.
You're better off with a remote repper for your drones.
