I dont have much experiance with mod'n out my ships, can anyone help me choose like the best stuff I could put on it.

Or if there is a website showing all the battle ready things you need to produce like 1000 damage like the Frigate MERLIN did to me, that would be great.
THANKS!

I've never heard of a merlin producing 1000 dps... but here's the "standard" drake fit.
lows: 3 Sheild Power Relays 1 Ballistic Control System
mids: 2-3 large shield extenders The rest opponent specific energized resistance mods
Highs: 7 heavy missle launchers 1 whatever (salvager, tractor, whatever)
rigs: 3 shield purger rigs
Obviously the more T2 the better.
Does okay DPS and has a pretty tough passive shield tank.

Of course this doesn't win any PvP battles... it's just the standard starting point for any passive drake.

LOL Bait ship fits don't really kill anything unless u have friends Here's a better fit, does better DPS than above, less passive tank, more buffer tank than most BC: lows: 2x Ballistic Damage control Powerdiagnostic mids: Large Shield extender 2x Invulfield (swap depend on what you'll be fighting, or keep for multipurpose) MWD warp disruptor, webber Highs: 7x HAM 1x watever u want as a heatsink rigs: 3x Core defence field extender
Kinetic missile damage is bonused but always carry a selection so you can poke at resist holes.

Not to thread****, but take this as a learning experience. You want to get EVEMon and EFT. EVEMon can query a database of fittings for EVERY ship, located on Battleclinic. Generally, highly rated fittings are decent. It also tells you how long it takes to get into that ship. If you found something you like, try to build it in EFT, and tweak the setup to your needs. More Damage, More tank, special bits... et al.
Apart from that, try joining up with a corp. Learning these three things (EVEMon especially!) will go a LONG way in this game.

My passive tanked has 2 x large shield extenders, 2 x heat and 2 x kin shield hardeners, 6 x heavy missiles with NPC damage type missiles and lows are all shield flux thingys.
Works like a charm, all 0.0 spawns have never been below 2/3 shield. PVP its ok as well.

|

No. Leave your "epic" passive shield recharge drakes in your mission hubs.
1. You do no DPS. Major problem if you expect to kill anything. Average fitted T1 cruises do more damage than a brick drake.
2. You can't hold anything in place. You can't catch anything, even if you wanted too
3. This ship is totally useless in a PvP gang, you will not play a role if you win or lose. You'll just watch your fleet mates get eaten alive and you'll die last. *** Currently Playing: Trolls from Outer Space Current Equipment: VISAcard chain mail, +2 Amulet of Epic Whine, Self Banstick +2 WTB: +666 E-peen killboard stats |
