Known Issues:
We discovered an issue that makes the HUD disappear when a player jumps/undocks with the Planetary Interaction mode open. There is, however ,a work-around for it which simply involves opening and closing the PI view again. We intend to fix this during downtime on Wednesday, April 25. CCP Navigator -Community Manager |

Sounds appear to be screwed up.
- Before DT i had station sounds, now after DT in same station i have none.
- drag/drop items also now has no sounds associated to it.
- module click missing.

I use to play on Mac, but now it seems the launcher cannot update my client to the latest version.
It pops up every time when I start the launcher and says data corruption detected. |

UI sounds are VERY quiet now. I literally cannot hear hardly any of them and they're the only reason I really play Eve with sound (tactile audio feedback.)
Example: Menu sounds, or the fitting window sounds are very quiet.
Also BRING BACK THE MODULE CLICK SOUNDS DURING FLIGHT. Need stuff moved? Push Industries will handle it. Servicing highsec and lowsec - and we do it faster and more reliably than anyone else. Ingame channel: PUSHX |

my mac client got approximately 2/3 of the way through the updating process then crashed. the launcher will still launch and it says i have the current version but a verification failure occurs shortly after i press play. |

I still get empty Internet Explorer windows instead of Opera windows (set as default Browser). If they at least showed the content they were supposed to show, but empty? |

It was fixed in some of the launcher versions that hit sisi some days ago but now the fix seems reverted. |

"Find Group in Browse Tab" shortcut broken on faction/officer/deadspace modules.
1. View one of the items on the market.
2. Right click on the breadcrumb trail at the top of the screen.
3. Click "Find Group in Browse Tab"
4. Marvel as your Browse Tab is magically transported to the T1/T2 variant group instead of the appropriate faction/whatever group. |

There is an extreme graphic glitch around warping in the vicinity of warp disruption bubbles. The whole screen matches the colour of the bubbles and begins to tear in random angles similar to a kalediscope for a few seconds before reverting back to normal.
Clearing the cache did not help the issue. |

Not sure if this has been posted by another Windows 7 user but...
When I launch EvE via the launcher, I get the error message: "The EVE Launcher cannot update a directory from which processes are running. Please close the following process: exefile.exe"
Go to Start then Run and type in taskmanager
find then terminate (end process) evefile.exe
Press ok on the error and then the updater should update |

I can still click on my ship (by guessing where it is), but I can't see the context menu when I right click on anything.
I've run the repair tool, still nothing. ENDLESS BLACK. |

Also, I am using a UI Scaling of 125%, everything works there except the overview isn't scaled anymore. (All the displays in the overview show at 100% regardless now. It's a bit annoying since it's so small on my giant screen now, so hopefully it gets fixed.
I've also noticed that when I reduce my screen size, to 1024x800, for example while I'm working, it resets my UI scaling. This is a bit annoying and if possible would be great if it sticked to what you set it as. When I'm using 800x600 anyways, I'm not playing the game, I'm mainly chatting or doing deals. Just to point out though, since it doesn't rescale back up when I size it back to my large screen and I have to go in the options to set it over again.
But the main flaw at the moment is the UI scaling with the overview from what I see. |

Here a nice one to think about, ship readout. We used to have a nice readout bar showing the amount of shield/armor/hull on a your ship, in either % or numbers. Now its been moved to the left side of the ship interface, witch i actually like cause its better for my window layout, but then there are these g@y looking lines connecting it tot the actual UI part of the shields. These lines are not in place at all the armor + hull ones are missing the UI readouts, hull is even pointing at my overheating part of the UI ......
Plz just remove these lines, they make no sense the previous system was just fine.
Other then that and the comments i made in the patch note section, nice to see an update that is deployed in time, gratz on that part. |

I played with my shaders a bit, but in the end I just hit the big "reset graphic settings" button and it all came back.

Seems to have calculated the patch correctly, but when almost done, the laucher client suddenly reported that the server was offline and seems to have hosed the patch. If offered to restart in admin mode, but that produced the same error.
Started repair tool and it went through about 4 attempts before erroring out with too many retries. Downloading full client now. On my other machine the patch worked fine. Just now completed. |

After today DT I tried to launch the game, launcher succesfully started and after that I've clicked play and got BSoD (blue screen of death). After my machine restarted I started getting crash info whenever i tried to start EvE launcher. I've run repair tool but that didn't fix the problem. In the attachement there is a error message I continue to get whenever I try to launch the game.

First of all UI issue I noticed 5 minutes into the game:
1. Overview Font size is 2 times larger than actuall font size. It looks extremly unnatural and in combinaton with a small screen and seven columns makes the overview look to full.
2. UI sounds are VERY quiet. Sound for clicking on Neocom or D-Scan-Scan-Button are now different and impossible to hear without cranking up speakers to full.
Those are UI things I can live with for a while.
BUT THIS NEEDS FIXING ASAP - GAME BREAKING FOR WORMHOLE RESIDENTS
We live in a WH with an Alliance. For easy access to BMs we use a Secure Container in one of the POS's. The can was launched by a corpmember of me ( not corp ) and everyone had access to it - Write and View.
Since of now this is broken. While you can still take out anything no one is able to put stuff in. We relaunched the container for Corp and not even I, a Corpmember, am able to put stuff inside. The container is, in every setup, yellow to everyone except the person who launched it. This is making living in a WH together nearly impossible and I really hope this was not the intent.
Warning we get when putting stuff in is: You cannot...container does not belong to you...not a member of the fleet or the corporation...
We tested it with being in Fleet, it still does not work.
As I said it is game breaking for WH Dwellers and it needs fixing ASAP.

( might sound more dramatic as it is for most but not being able to share BMs especially with mutliple timezones will make it a pain in the *** ) |

Besides the sound issues already reported (e.g. missing station enviromental sounds), I also experience another, rather annoying sound glitch:
Every time i session change (dock/undock/jump) I now hear some sort of a short, random-noise spike. It is as if some of the enviromental sounds are being played very loudly for a only a split second.
The effect was gone once I muted the world-sound-channel. Obviously, this measure is very counter productive to the enjoyment of the game. |

It seems like your launcher cache got corrupted.
To fix this, close the Launcher and delete the cache Directory under launcher inside your client install directory (default: C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE). CCP Sputnik | Software Engineer |

ok so i am getting an issue with the windows 64bit as its telling me this ( unsupported 16-bit application)
the program or feature''\??\c:\program files (x68)\eve online\ launcher\launcher.exe'' cannot start or run due to incompatibity with 64-bit versions of windows. please contact the softwar vendor to ask if a 64-bit windows compatible version is available.
i under stand that there have been people out the able to run eve with windows 7 64 bit but just saying it works is not helping me out if any one have found out how to sort this problem out pls let me know thx |

For one of my computers (Win 7-64, like my other one), there is no map window (when you open the map), no system info (i.e. "Jita 1.0 > Constellation > Region" etc), and also when I set a destination, it doesn't show up under the system info like it normally does. I cleared my cache, relogged, still not working. The other PC works fine.
Also, someone else mentioned the % readout change... I don't like it either, the old one was better.

I cannot complete the download of the latest patch, it get's to around 75% each time and then the connection is reset, due to a dl timeout or something?
the patch file get's to about 166mb, no bigger, have ample disk space.
I've deleted the temp patch file, restarted the process a number of times and each time keeps on resetting the connection at around 75%.
my connection's stable and have no other connection speed issue. i've also noticed that just before it resets (at around 72%) the dl speed slow dramatically.

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\launcher\cache run launcher_installer_TQ_131.exe
After install it will works again!

Congrats, I only get 8.62 MB of the 292.76 MB downloaded before it stops.
You can petition it and wait over a week for a reply, which will just be a copy paste of everything you've already tried from this forum.
Or you can wait until someone you really trust comes online, downloads and installs the patch, then exports it, uploads it somewhere and gives you the URL to it. Then you can manually download, import and install patch with no problems what so every. I'm having to do this option again and hope that a trusted corp mate helps me out - cause I'm not downloading just anyone's upload as it'll probably have a trojan in there.
Or re-download the full offline installer every patch day, because that NEVER gets old CCP, just give us an official patch file URL to manually download and import when the launcher WONT work. |

Confirming this (NPC Corp) pilot cannot access Orca Corp bays while in space (as above, no menu). Can while docked in station.
Fleet members cannot either.
Did play with the maint bay settings (Configure ship).
Have another report from an NPC Corpmate that the same is happening to him.
Don't have a PC Corp Orca pilot handy to test, but inquiring in local -- people say its working for them. So probably just NPC Corp pilots.

However you do not have to worry, we run the DirectX install mostly as a precaution to make sure you definitely have the right version installed, EVE would fail to start without the correct version. CCP Sputnik | Software Engineer |

Could you please open the map on the machine and hit F12 -> Report Bug, this will collect all the necessary logs to investigate this issue.

for the love of god fix the launcher! is the third time i gotta spend hours trying to figure out how to run the game. launcher wont update still same issue with me as the one with crucible 1.6. double click eve, starts the update window which magically disappear at 3/7. repair wont help, go to launcher cache and run launcher_installer_whatever wont help neither, saying i got incomplete or damaged media.
please STOP WASTING MY TIME. I cant cope with this every time you release an update. at least make a freaking way to dl the parts I need without downloading the whole client. Again |

Have cleared the cache several times and restarted. No improvement.

Do you have any chance to check your launcher.log for errors? (default location is: C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\launcher\cache\launcher.log).

yes i noticed one issue so far.. The sound on Jump Bridges is messed up... seems to loop the jump sound until you change to the system you jumped too... so i hear it at least twice and it is also not a fluent fade in and fade out effect.. instead it kinda scares the crap out of you lol. Sounds like it is being cut off at the start |

Found the repair app in the EVE folder. Right clicked and choose run as administrator. Found a lot of missing blocks at 3/7. Processing 6/7 now with 282.13 MB to download in the next 33 minutes... However it is progressing well at this stage.

Creating the patch folder causes the update to fail. The launcher attempts to update again with raised privileges and fails again, prompting an error calling for a reboot. Reboot does nothing.
I've managed to get to the 'download patch' state exactly once so far and got to around 100mb. This was the first failure. All other failures have occurred before I've had a chance to reach the downloading part.
Will attempt to run repair tool.

I got exactly the same error message, the launcher does not complete the file download. downloaded the files listed here:

and eve runs fine. it's is a launcher timeout issue. |

The green overheat button can only be used once. It will not work afterwards, and only Shift+Click can be used to control overheating. For example, if I use the button to overheat a module, clicking on it again to stop overheating will have no effect. Cycling the module off has no effect. Hovering over it still properly shows the damage amount, however. |

I am still in the midst of the repair tool which has completed it's first run successfully. It is now downloading more missing blocks but only 140.38 MB and at twice the speed. I look forward to playing some time.

if the ppl are in the same corp it works if ppl in a diff corp and even the orca is set for fleet usage it dont work you have access to shipfitting and bay but not to the corporate hangar orca in a playercorp miner in a npc corp looks like more then one ppl have this problem hope this helps

My updater just finished installing. The ready button is lit up but when I click to launch an error message comes up reading the contents of my screen shot. It wouldn't let me copy and paste so had to do it this way.

We are having the same issues w/ Orcas and corp use. Pilot is corp member, non-corp/alliance members cannot use corp bay.

A lil issue when client starts:
1) Splash screen is immediate
2) A very short usage of HDD then the client stops doing anything
3) After about a minute a black client appears.

Having the same issue as Atillanz and co. on Win 7 64-bit. It seems that everyone reporting this is on that OS. My Vista PC patched up fine.
EDIT: My "run repair as admin" bombs out after a while, same as they report. Here's the tail end:

It seems to me that the Win 7 - 64 bit implementation is broken.

fleet members have no right click options to access corp hangers belonging to other corps. ATM fleet members that are in fleet with orca's and rorquals must jet can mine, even tho they are valid fleet members and within range of the ship. nothing is mentioned in the patch notes about these changes so I assume it is a bug. |

Rogue Drones drop nothing at the moment, so I cant see the lucrative part here? The alloy part I understand but not to let them drop anything kinda makes them the worse lucrative NPC in the whole universe.

The launcher starts creating the patch, goes to apply it and then says it's unable to do so and will now retry with elevated permissions. This fails also and the popup box just suggests I reboot and try again. |

If you are experiencing Issues with the Launcher not starting up correctly you should first try the following workarounds (this is covering multiple issues start from the top down and only try the next workaround after you have tried to start the Launcher and Game):
- Close the Launcher if it is still running, delete the cache Directory under launcher inside your client install directory (default: C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE) and try starting the Launcher again
- Try running the Client Repair Tool.
- Check if an alternate way of patching works for you.

The launcher will not launch. When I click on it, the launcher does not appear on screen, and, by watching the task manager, the process runs for about 30 seconds then goes away.
I ran the repair tool, and it downloaded some files(I'm assuming that's the update), but the launcher will still not open.
I tried rebooting my computer. I am using Vista 64. The launcher and eve client were working fine last night, before the patch.
I was only able to launch eve by running the "Exefile.exe" in the bin folder of my eve installation. |

+1 here. Hulk + Orca in same fleet. Orca configured properly but Hulk cannot access Orca's corp hangar. Convoed other miners in the belt with me and they have the same issue. |

I tried launching, letting launcher autopatch...twice. Restarted comp, same stuff. Then i ran repair tool, didn't work. Then i ran repair tool from the directory i found a link to here...5.6GB...after 1 hour, it failed. Then i deleted that file in EvE - cache directory in launcher...failed Then i tried launching again, restarted...failed Now i uninstalled eve client...downloading new fresh one. Hope that works. And yes, Win 7 x64 here, bought a new comp 5 days ago. Had eve running perfectly until this patch. |

Still in exist graphical bug / glitch occouring after several hours of playing / having CLient active, which Comes up with Bubbles instead the Jump effect while jumping through gates, gate beams broken also Warptunnel effect vanishes, also the bulletin boards close to Gates show pixeling pictures.
Using Win7 64bit, 32 Gbyte RAm, GTX 570 2560 Graphiccard newest Drivers and stuff, so i'm pretty sure this isn't coming from my PC or graphiccard, since this Bug showed up at a certain Crucible patch ways back and before this patch i was able to play for hours without having those problems.
Anyone knows the cause or has a workaround or is this bug beeing worked upon?

Just exefile doing nothing in the background. That issue right there raises the issue of not being able to patch manually as I don't know what previous version I had.
Repair errs out every time, so that's not helpful either. :(

Same problem here.
In an Orca only members of my corp can access the Corp hanger, other members outside my Corp cannot. Orca toon is not in an NPC Corp nor is any other of the toon.
Please fix. |

There appears to be trouble. I undocked in Jita, look around, and EVE crashes every single time. Not sure what causes it, maybe having a container in view or some specific ship. 
So now I get 70+ fps on my nVidia 9400 GT video card, but I can't undock 
1. Clearing cache did not help 2. Changing shaders/quality to medium from low did not help fix the crash. enabling HDR and object cache didn't do anything either. Normally I play on all low settings with everything disabled.
So now I've undocked and I can't dock 
PS. Great performance increase!! Sadly, can't log in to enjoy it.

Are you using LInux by any chance? Tech III cruiser models appear to be crashing the client when running under Wine. Please support: export of settings in editable format

I found a bug if you jump or undock while you have a PI screen up your ship console will not be there when you close the PI screen, thus preventing you from using any modules, the scanner, tactical view, overheat, etc. by clicking in their icons, keyboard shortcuts still work.
I have found that causing a session change/forcing a redraw to occur (docking undocking, jumping, and opening and then closing the PI screen, switching planets without closing the PI screen after undock or jump) will cause it to be visible and useable again.

Also noone from blueboxed corps which are not in the same alliance can drop stuff into any not-owned cans. This si also true for fleet members. They can't either drop anything into not-owned cans. |

Process followed: 1. Rename common.ini to common_old.ini 2. Run launcher, launcher tries to run exefile --> exefile errs out because common.ini is missing, asks me to perform repair. 3. Ran repair, repair errs out, but still replaces common.ini (luckily) 4. Run launcher, launcher succesfully launches exefile.

Just like the patch when the launcher was first introduced I can not use the eve repair tool again. Now the reason I tried the repair tool is because when I start eve I download the patch it finishes then it closes and nothing happens. When I try to run eve again the same thing happens (downloads patch then nothing)

Click ok and greeted with "Unable to apply patch. restart your PC and run the laucnher again"
Restart PC, same "restart and re-run the launcher" messages.
Run as admin, oh, again, "restart and re run the launcher" messages.
Restart again, run launcher directly in EVE Dir\Launcher\launcer.exe
same error, run as admin, same error...
Any manual patches avaiable? |

Thanks guys.
Latest update - EVE Client on Mac completely screwed - as usual.
Naturally there isn't a 'Repair.exe' so the installation is totally stuffed.
Wish I had not paid another subscription yesterday - what a ripoff.
So now what? Use my entire monthly download quota (and probably take a month to download it) and download the whole thing again - just because you can never, ever, get an upgrade to work properly.
Good night.
Tomorrow I will decide whether to spend hours re-downloading or just skip it and erase the lot.  |

Actually, that's exactly what happened for me. After you run repair, and it tries to manually patch, try renaming common.ini to something else, then letting repair replace that. Even if repair errs out, as it did for me, it should still fix common.ini. Then when you run the launcher it will hopefully properly launch the game.
The steps have been detailed earlier in the thread.

Thanks for the reply, done this and got a little further, but...
Now after the "warning client modified, repair me" message, I ran the launcher and it stated "failed to add block" on almost every file, now the evefile.eve just sits at 11mb ram usage and does nothing, even though the launcher says "ready to play"
I'm getting quite annoyed at the moment... |

The point is this is dumb. Some of us have been playing this game for years, and you without fail cannont just patch your game.
If fails in every conceivable way when you try to patch it, I mean, its the same game right, other companies patch games all the time, why is it such a catastrophic clusterfuck any time you try to do ANYTHING to this game?
This patcher? It sucks, its horrible, it fails constantly and we've had to patch the patcher for like 2 months solid.
And it still doesn't work.
How is this possible?
I build houses, if every other house I build didn't have windows and doors that opened I'd be out of a job pretty damn quick, and yet here you sit, botching patch after patch after patch. About 10 a year, and every single one is a different nightmare than the last.
Is it really the case that every other game company on earth has some magical wizard behind a curtain that helps get their patches out or are you people really this bad at your jobs? |

I pull up the corp blueprints tab of the science & industry window and attempt to copy the list of blueprints onto the clipboard and into a spreadsheet. Copy+paste to spreadsheet has me drooling.
I notice that the columns "copy", "ML", "PL", and "Runs" don't make it fully to my spreadsheet. I only get that information for those blueprints that have been visible in the window since the last time the window was refreshed. So if I have more blueprints than are visible in the window, I have to slowly scroll down to the bottom before copying to the clipboard.
Steps to reproduce: Get a corp hangar with dozens of blueprints (50+ should do it) Pull up the corp blueprints tab in science and industry Make sure the table with the blueprints has input focus Hit ctrl+C Paste into a spreadsheet Scroll down far enough, and beyond that point, the Copy, ML, PL, and Runs fields will all be blank.
Workaround: Go back into eve, and slowly scroll the blueprints window to the bottom, so that every blueprint is at some point visible. Copy to clipboard again Paste into the spreadsheet All info is now there.
I imagine the client is only grabbing the info for those columns as it needs it to display them; I'm sure some people have thousands (tens of thousands? hundreds?) of blueprints in some corp hangars and grabbing the ML and PL on each all at once would cause a lag spike like no one's business. Perhaps if someone tries to copy to clipboard, that should trigger a full retrieval of information, at the cost of a lag spike.

This is my 4th attempt to reinstall the game. Neither the launcher and or the repair work. If they don't crash, they don't launch, or they just throw up some reason as to why they don't load (My favorite is saying no internet). Honestly, what kind of code was thrown together that appears to have only been partially tested and even then, it was done by an angry intern who didn't care. You guys have sent bad patches out before where there were all kinds of stuff wrong, but this whole wont even load the launcher that allows you to launch the game thing...ditch the launcher, and bring back the old school way of doing this |

So, here we are with Escalation and I'm still seeing the same issues I posted about back in Crucible. BTW, every Crucible patch after the one that introduced the launcher displayed the same issues, I just had given up on posting about it. :

Here's the steps I had performed 1) Run launcher.ex 1a) launcher.exe downloads and updates the launche 1b) Now launcher.exe is broken (16-bit issue): screenshot
2) OK, so I attempt a repair operation, though I know it's probably not going to work 2a) repair.exe breaks on Step 3/7 just as it did ever since the launcher was introduced: logfile
3) Basically now for users such as myself who experience this issue on Win7, we're stuck as we cannot run the launcher, repair tool, or manually apply .patch files shared by a mate (since the launcher doesn't work
4) The workarounds suggested by CCP Sputnik here don't work obviously in this scenario, except for re-installing the full client, which CCP can imagine is a pain, especially for those who have ISP download caps or have a satellite/mobile ISP (fortunately I have a capless ISP but it's still a royal pain to re-install
5) RadioBANITA's workaround here does not apply to this issue, as the launcher is corrupted and hasn't successfully downloaded the launcher patch installer yet
6) The only solution is to have a mate or computer that is not affected, to upload a working copy of the launcher folder, whereupon the launcher would be the correct version, and it would be able to download the EVE patch normally
7) Anyone with protocol content filtering on their software or hardware AV/Firewall still gets the issue where the working launcher is unable to download the patch, noted per the Crucible thread way back

Updated Eve as standard and launcher shows server is online, however when starting the game the login screen shows server unknown:
Connection Failed: Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong.
Ran repair tool twice, but no joy.
Stumped....
Edit #1: Tried to load Sisi, patched as normal and then and Unknown Error. Repair tool does nothing. Not sure is this is related or not.

My Final Work Around was to copy my hidden settings folder for eve_tranquility (the x86) and then delete everything else.
Then reinstall the client fresh, and let it do its thing, it took about 3 hours to download and install, thanks for that blazing speed.
It was then stable and launched properly, so I copied my settings folder in and the game runs fine without losing any of the window settings or other things that I had personalized about my particular client.
Its really stupid that this was the fix, but it is what it is.
I await tomorows patch to fix the things that todays patch broke that rebreaks **** so i have to do this all over again. |

I have sent THREE petitions to them about the unhandled page fault problem with Eve played on my Mac. Each time I have been told that they are working on it, with no hint as to when it might be fixed. This has literally been going on for MONTHS, and I keep waiting around thinking "oh, well they're working on it, so the next patch should fix it", and each patch just makes it freeze more and more. I figured I'd stick it out until Inferno because it seemed like it made sense that it would be fixed in an entire new version... but literally five seconds after I start the game with Inferno installed, whelp........ unhandled page fault, game freezes, have to restart it.
The last reply I got was pissy and all "you know, if this was an easy problem to fix, it would be fixed by now, it is complicated and takes a lot of time", which I find almost insulting. It isn't free to have this game, and yet all I've been able to do is stay in nine sec for months, and when I am up to dealing with it freezing every ten minutes or so, I'll mine for a while. I haven't been able to do anything else. So basically they have gotten nearly a hundred dollars from me at this point, or more, for absolutely nothing in return.
If you're going to say you support Mac users, you should care about fixing known problems that a lot of mac users are having, or if you don't care, then just say so, drop your mac support, and only deal with windows customers. Oh wait, then you wouldn't be getting all the extra money we give you for no customer service in return. yay. |

Confirming the problem Post #67 mentions in this thread.
All of the giant secure containers we leave unanchored but floating in space inside our Wormhole POS used to be accessible by entire corp. Now, we can only access individual secure containers if we launched them for ourselves personally--they become yellow for everyone else in our corp, and our corp members can look inside, but we can't deposit or remove sleeper loot or shared bookmarks or shared ammo.
However, we have one additional problem even worse than what Post #67 mentions.
If we re-scoop the containers and relaunch them "for corp," they turn yellow to everyone--and in our case, they even turn yellow to the player who launches them, so we cannot get our own stuff out again. This is making keeping track of sleeper loot shares a nightmare for us, and for sharing bookmarks with alliance members. It also means we cannot in some cases extract our own goods from our own cans, if we launch them for corp use. |

Going through a gate or entering a station I get this quick "SHWOP" sound a fraction of a second as the screen changes from Space to Station or System to System. The UI sounds and clicks are inaudiable, I already miss the beeps and clicks of pushing various buttons. |

My Orca pilot can access the hangars just fine, but then that character is a director with rights to all hangars. Checking the Fleet & Corporation boxes makes no difference to the corporate hangars: members of the alliance who were previously able to access the hangars (i.e.: right-click on Orca -> Open Corporate Hangars) can no longer access the hangars as of this patch.
If there's time to look at it, perhaps add an option to "configure as fleet hangar" on the corporate hangars on ships which have the facility. It would be nice to have a dedicated "fleet hangar" on the Orca which is a bay accessible by the rest of the fleet (and only the fleet), regardless of corporation. This would be awesome for pick-up fleets: when I'm helping new people and inviting them along to fleets so they can participate by mining in a cruiser or hauling in their T1 industrial, I don't have to resort to jet cans.
Replace the "corp hangar" with "fleet hangar" that has no tabs and I'd be happy.

Warning we get when putting stuff in is: You cannot...container does not belong to you...not a member of the fleet or the corporation...
We tested it with being in Fleet, it still does not work.
As I said it is game breaking for WH Dwellers and it needs fixing ASAP.

Sounds like the person launched the can for himself and not on behalf of corp. It's the same as pos modules ect if you have the roles you can launch for yourself or for corp. |

Orca set to allow Fleet Member Usage turned on Mack 1 can access Orca Normally Mack 2 Cannot even see the option to open the Corp Hangars
Thought that it might have been that I changed the setting whilst on grid or something, so after I filled the Orca and was about to come back from station I changed the Fleet member usage Setting prior to Warping, unfortunately it made no difference so you can cross that off the list of maybe work arounds.

OK, so far so good, ran launcher on Laptop (wireless connection), launcher updated fine, downloaded patch, also updated client fine, saved patch to flash drive and used it to update all other clients on laptop (1) and game tower (2). All windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. All clients installed in their own folders on separate drive partitions (not drive C:).
However, sounds are, as reported elsewhere, very quiet, this seems to relate to you changing the splash screen Muzak from playing directly as the splash screen is displayed (as on SiSi), to attaching it to the music volume control in the [Esc] menu. On SiSi this Muzak was much louder than the in game sounds and I wonder because the client sound system has to compensate for the higher volume, the rest of the sounds have been lowered. Just a thought.
Also is it possible, just to make things simpler for multi client users, could you add a feature to the launcher to have a user selectable default folder location for the patch file. This would make it much easier to find the file for saving and for other launchers to load and enable users with home networks to download the file to a network storage device for everyone to use. The HUD is incorrectly displaying "no skills in queue" with blank progress bar since the patch.
Loading the skill training window resets the HUD to the correct information, however subsequently loading into another screen (PI for example I have seen this) then back to the station makes the HUD revert back to the incorrect behaviour.
I have also noticed that some third party tools are having issues reporting on skills in training as well (via API keys). Two examples are EVEMon and Aura (for Android). These tools are reporting as having no skills in training but then are correct after I load the skill training window (via the EVE client) and they refresh. If I then repeat the issue these tools also revert to the incorrect no skills in training message soon after.
Before the patch I had Electronics training to V with a few hours left. Since the patch I have added Engineering to V to the queue and applied the change to see if it helped but the above behaviour continues. I also did not receive any errors during patching. Using Windows 7 32bit, can also test on a 64bit machine if required.

After the Escalation to Inferno patch, very few numbers are showing up correctly. Instead of showing my Wallet size as "7 000 000 000" it shows up as "7 ISK". It seems that the client is truncating numbers to first delimiter or decimal sign in all numbers. Take for example "123 m" shows correctly, since it has no thousand unit delimiter while, "1,5 AU" will show up in overview as "1", without a unit marker nor the value after a comma.

Tried the uninstall-reinstall approach because there's no sure kill like overkill, I'm seeing complaints that the other methods still aren't working, some have claimed that the uninstall-reinstall worked, and because letting something run for a few hours in the background while I study or clean up is far less stressful for me than screwing with directories and file names and looking for hidden folders and- God knows what else. Seriously, it might be simple enough to the average EVE player to screw with these things (I hear to no end from the players about how much better/smarter/cooler they are than those of other MMOs), but I am a self-admitted quasi-literate computer user.
Uninstall-reinstall failed, of course, or I wouldn't be posting here. I'm right back to the same issues of being unable to finish patching. What's the ETA on getting this fixed for the computer non-savvy folks? Is there an ETA in the first place? Light digs at the EVE culture aside, neither I nor the most tech-savvy players should have to do install acrobatics to make this game work. This is my last PLEX, ticking down, down, down... |

I am running Eve on Mac OS X. Just updated the client, the error is still present.
This appears to be a very specific problem with using a language like "Norsk (Bokmal)" on the Mac, the same language works fine on a Windows PC, for example. Not sure it is actually an issue, but on each "big" release included with the Launcher, I had to run EVE at least 2 times: - first time as admin to update the launcher. Then application quits without any message. - second time as admin to update EVE client.
As a side note, on almost every recent update my client settings (windows, overview ...) got corrupted. Anyway, I feel lucky since apart these issue I was able to update and run on a reasonable time on my computer (Seven x64), which is much better than first update of 2012 (before launcher, dont remember, perhaps crucible 1.1 ?) which forced me a full reinstall. I just hope that the strange behavior of the Launcher gets eventually fixed ... |

Here is a solution, at least for now:
1) Click this link and download the latest patch http://cdn1.eveonline.com/365434/EVE_Online_364755-365434_win.zip
2) Unzip this file and open EvE Launcher
3) Click the settings icon on the launcher and choose Patches>Import>Select the file you just unzipped and click OK
4) It will automatically update the launcher and you are good to go
It works, believe me!
And damn you CCP for making us do s**t like this...get rid of this abomination called EvE Launcher! |

Orca driver (NPC corp) are able to open and operate corp hangar after today's patch. But miners (same and another NPC corp) are unable to open it. All was connected to a fleet with Orca as squadmaster.
And please, consider to make fleet use checked by default as well as corp use. |

I have yet to see the problem I am encountering come up here, so here it goes:
MY UI is getting really messed up, to the point i have to restart because i cannot read or see anything.

Opening the map seems to *sometimes* cause it, at other times i have no idea what causes it. The UI gets a smudged appearance, letters start disappearing, and those white boxes show up everywhere. If it is related, the lighting near stargates is also really messed up. I tried running repair tool, but it didn't find anything wrong.

This not a problem if the Orca pilot and fleet members are part of the same corporation. This only occurs if the fleet member is not part of the Orca corporation or he and the orca pilots corporation is an npc corporation. |

Can confirm there is a sort of perrrrp noise when jumping through a gate, it occurs just at the end of the jump gate sound effect.
While salvaging a large amount of wrecks with my command ship about 1 in 5 that reported GÇÿsalvage successfulGÇÖ did not put anything in my cargo hold.
A GÇÿPulsating Beacon VGÇÖ gave itGÇÖs name 3 times listed one above the other but all the other beacons only listed the name once.
While in space Metal Scraps did not auto stack in the cargo hold but everything else added did.
When docked, holding down [Ctrl] and clicking each icon to select what to remove did not give any audible feedback (no GÇÿselect clickGÇÖ sound).
Some other sounds are either very quiet or missing, space seems very quiet since this patch/upgrade. Sound ambience adds to the overall quality of the game (and yes EVE does have sound and no I donGÇÖt have Muzac playing while I play), and if your busy doing GÇÿstuffGÇÖ it adds valuable audio feedback.

Is the overload problem a bug or not ? when you overload and get damage, you can't overload your item again. Even if the module is 0.01 damaged, you won't be able to re-overload it .
You need to repair it if you want to overload again. And it's a huge problem in figths. |

Switching to planetary view when mining (in this case, ice mining) and back causes the progress indicator (the white progress circle around the slot) to get out of sync with the actual progress - it looks like it restarts at 0 even if the cycle is in-between, causing the visual cycle time to be out of sync with the actual.
Happens on both lasers on my mackinaw. Stopping the cycle and restart fixes the problem.

Here's how I eventually got the update to work yesterday. Firstly I don't use the C: drive, but have 2 clients on different drives on my PC. After many hours of deleting things, running repairs, manually downloading, running things as administrator etc. I decided to uninstall my main client, and deleted all the cached data from the C: drive (why the hell it's there in the first place I don't know as the main client is installed to F:). I deleted all the Eve files from C: in fact just to be sure. I then copied the other client (that wouldn't update either) over to the F: drive where I'd just deleted my main client from. I then ran it from that location and sure enough it updated cleanly first time. I then deleted the old non-updating client and replaced it with the functioning one. I now suspect that if I had just cleared the C: drive of all the Eve related files it would have forced the clients to update properly. Anyway; I had taken the day off to play Eve, what I did was spend 6-7 hrs trying to patch my clients, used a sizeable portion of my data limits for the month on downloads and eventually played eve for about an hour before my GF came home :-( |

All these fixes are fine if your into that. I pay for this service and expect it to run when I turn it on. Having to go through all these fixes for something I pay a monthly fee for is like:
Going to a garage paying for fixes to your car, getting in and it wont turn on but having 5 guys that dont work there telling me If you apply the brake, turn the key, turn on the wipers and jump up and down it might start. Thats is just plain stupid for a company to do.
I should not have to jump through all these hurdles to play the game. This new launcher was nothing but a bunch of wasted time when there was already a system in place to download patches and update the game. Now if the launcher doesnt work you are just plained screwed.
Done with paying for lousy service. Good luck keeping players turning out crap like this. |

Can you people fix your flipping sound-engine after 3+ years, finally? And then leave it that way?
Also, slight overall frame-rate drop and specific drops where I'd never had them before, and fittings-screen takes much longer to load then pre-patch.

Confirm, this is (one of) the (many) problems I'm having as well, with many other glitches and gfx corruptions, which invariably leads the machine down the reboot path since the screen dies and locks. The problems begin with the login screen corrupting, on the odd occasion I can actually get into the game, all the other corruptions drag it down, can provide some interesting screen grabs no doubt. I can even hear my cpu fan speeding up dramatically.

In station you cannot copy directly from People & Places to a can.
You must move the bookmarks to the cargohold of the ship you are in first and then copy them.
Fix this ASAP please, before we have to come round with pitchforks and torches 
Edit - to replicate use a small standard container while docked. Shift-drag any single bookmark from People & Places to the can. It will not copy. Now shift-drag the same bookmark to the cargohold of your current ship. It will copy. Now shift-drag it from cargohold to can. It will copy.
Totally repeatable and very very annoying. |

Im playing on pc client. Yesterday i got big lag spikes when warping into a position outside a pos that had 3-4 warp bubbles around it, It was like in some zoom modes the whole screen distorted into blue and purple and scan lines and stuff. thats what I call Ewar!  Never experienced eve doing that before, or well once when after some patch the stargates could start glowing all white..  |

The 1st thing after the patch 2 days ago, was i am not able to even launch the game, pop out one cmd window and close stright away, took my damn time to DL the new game client and reinstall the game, i get to play it for 5 hours today and the 1st thing i reach hm and try to play the game the same thing happen.....
Dear CCP are you telling me that everytime i want to log in to this game i have to do a 3 min uninstall of EvEonline and RE Download the Game and unstall the game again for 4 hours before i can log in and play???? i have not been able to play eve online for the past 43 hours and i still cannot log in??? i bet i am not the only person that is facing this issue.
Could you please fix the damn launcher problem, every single time you all patch something or bring something new in alot of people get screw over, we are not paying money to play this good game anymore is like we are wasting time and money on it..

I have a similar issue to ARCHTURU5 in post item 8 ( https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1180631#post1180631 ).
During update my updater crashed saying it could not complete and would try again with 'raised security'. It didn;t work so I quit, rebooted and did a repair. The update appeared to work but although the launcher screen pops up, when I press 'Play', the initial Escalation screen comes up for about 10 seconds and then the exefile.exe crashes out and disappears.
I managed to get into Eve once via safemode, but cannot get in normally.
havewn't tried it on any other boxes yet, but this one is as follows:
Win XP 64 on i7 960 24gb RAM Dual, SLI Nvidia GTX 580 Nvidia driver 296.10
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Ytd i redl the whole client which was 365454, today new patch is 365966, which i am dling the WHOLE CLIENT AGAIN, which is going to take another 4 hour or more.
Once it is done i will overwrite the whole folder, if it works i will let you all know ^^
And to CCP do you all test all these patches BEFORE you install it into the Main server and force everyone to dl the broke patch????, do yourself one more good favor, create a link for manual patching, the launcher is not making everyone's life any easier |

same here again... so... I know you have lots of stuff to fix, I know you are busy, I know it's not easy to run a game like this, I know... I know that every morning you first make a coffee, or maybe you going to smoke... but, for gods sake, you have test servers, go make your ****** patches on test servers not on the main server (you know that Tranquility, located in London I guess)...

First time forum poster, love the game but I am seriously pissed off. This is the third time I have had to download the game in 3 days. I am having the same problem as a lot of people it seems.
EVE launcher starts to update but then closes. When I try and restart the launcher all I get is a dos window that closes very rapidly.
I have tried all the advice given in the last 16 pages and nothing is working.
I have a data cap on my internet. If re-installing doesn't work I am leaving the game. I hate to say it because I love it but I am so frustrated with this sort of thing. I have two accounts...

Isn't that the drones that only have Drone AI as drop, no alloys, if so they will as per greyscales comment earlier have no bounty , only the drones that dropped alloys prior to the change will have bounties.

Since 24th i am also a victim of the new update (yet again, had problems with the last major update but a complete dl cured that) and window 7. After dl (which takes HOURS on a 2Mb line ) and installing i had the same imcompatibilty issues and none of the posts from CCP solved the issue.
Then i seen a post from one of the player that had linked a patch to his post and discribed how to manually patch to get the game working, so i tried that and managed to start the game - excellent post btw 
The game still worked this morning and off i went to work.....
....came back home, started the game, launcher updates and i am back at square 1 
Looked on the forum and noticed that there are a lot of ppl still having the same issues, some even looking at quiting 
So i got thinking....@ 14.99 a month....
thats only about 0.50 a day.....
so for 3 days offline due to a CCP patch that makes 1.50 a char....
so if "only" 1000 chars are having issues that would amount to 1500.00 every 3 days or 500 a day....and thats not a bad wage 
Just noticed as well the the last CCP reply here was the afternoon of the 25th about a number display issue - the last reply about the launcher issue was the late evening of the 24th (also tried that but the launcher will not start)
So to try and help out here are a few error messages that i have received (after following the CCP directions here in the forum):
Error message from the launcher (in German):
Nicht unterst++tze 16-Bit anwendung
Das Programm bzw. die Funktion "??\C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\launcher\launcher.exe" kann afgrund eine Inkompatabilit+ñt mit 64 Bit-Version von windows kann nicht gestartet bzw. ausgef++hrt werden. Wenden Sie sich an den Softwarehersteller, um zu erfahren, ob eine mit 64 Bit-Windows kompatible version verf++gbar ist.
Which roughly means the laucher is not compatible with windows 7 and that i should contact the software company to see if there is a 64 bit version available

Very tempted to dl the file in the post but i am worried about the possibility of a virus/trojan/account hack so until CCP can confirm, or link a offical copy as a work around, i guess i will just have to sit tight and watch my money go to waste......
....I know you guys at CCpare working on this but it is very frustrating that most of the workarounds are coming from the players themselves, and they are doing it because they enjoy the game but because the are getting paid for it, so please please at least take notice of the above paragraph and post a workaround....

reinstall your OS. seriously, you're downloading the same files as everyone else and the vast majority of us are working. You've probably some got some third party application causing issue(s) or a hardware issue. |

I had something like that happen to me. I dont know if it will work for you but I just ran the repair tool to make sure eve had the update then I went and found the ExeFile under bin inside the eve folder.
Program Files(x86) -> CCP -> EVE -> bin -> ExeFile
Let me know if this was dumb luck for me or not |

Well after dl EvE overnight, yea i know but i only have a 2Mb line and it takes hours, and starting the launcher-so that i could try the manual update that worked for me until CCP changed the patch at yesterdays DT - I was p****d off only to discover that i couldnt as the first thing the launcher did was update 
So i guess i will uninstall and dl for the fourth time and hope that CCP release a new patch at todays DT so that it will work tonight........
And as to the post about a complete restall of an OS and then dl all the updates etc - i have better things to be doing on a WE
UPDATE:
Just started the EveFile.exe within CCP\EVE\bin and it started EvE direct - this caused a dl of a new build (launcher) which then started automatically and then dl the new patch with no issues - so in short i can now play again 
Just seems strange that this works but the launcher it self doesnt....Will remember this for the next major update  |

Constant download error messages because of corrupt files........patch not loading. Being continually told to run repair tool. Notified Eve update is sucessfull only to have repeat the exercise with the repair tool.
Haven't managed to log on to Eve since update was deployed. Going to reinstall the client................Not a Happy Camper.

I too had severe problems after the "Escalation to Inferno" release on Tuesday morning. Indeed, I feel I'm in one of the computerized versions of Dante's Hell (Inferno), so I guess that's what you were shooting for. Good job.
ANYWAY, after the launcher would not patch properly I followed all kinds of steps that were recommended by CCP guys and others on these forums. After spending several hours and a couple of days waiting for something that would work and trying several of the recommendations I decided to go for the headshot -- uninstall and reinstall the game completely. I uninstalled the game but reinstallation has been a problem. When I tried to reinstall from your website I got an error message and was told to do it manually. Your website instructed me to then download three separate files (one executable and 2 compressed files) into their own folder having nothing to do with Eve (which is gone from my computer now anyway). After spending more than 90 minutes downloading these files I followed the next instruction -- double click on the executable. I did that. Big surprise -- it didn't work. I got an archive extraction error. So I search on your technical support FAQ and in a very unhelpful fashion it tells me to extract the compressed files with "my favorite data extraction program." I don't know what that means, but when I tried to extract the data I was prompted to search the Internet for a proper extraction tool. After speaking to some friends and googling I found a program that can extract these ".7Z" file extension programs. I downloaded that and tried to use it to extract the data. GUESS WHAT! IT DIDN'T WORK.
I am really furious right now. I have been playing for two years and have never had a problem with your launcher or any of your patches before. I followed every recommendation and every step for days and hours, downloading stuff over and over again. Finally, at the end of my rope, I went for what should be a very simple thing to do -- uninstall and reinstall the program. I have uninstalled correctly and should probably have canceled my 3 paying subscriptions there and called it a victory. FOOLISHLY I thought at least you guys had a system that easily allowed someone to install your product. Anyway, I have not been able to login in several days, I have one skill queue empty and another one about to become empty and I have no eve on my computer at all. Please give me download/installation instructions that actually work so I can continue with this stupid game. This is really ridiculous. |

.7z = 7-Zip archive format, read more about is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7z
7z is one of the better archive format out there at the moment. Like all good archive formats it has good CRC error checking. If you are getting extraction errors, your download is corrupted. If I had to take a wild guess, I'd say it has be something in your end that corrupts the download. |

Mogg you might also want to give a shot for steam installed version of EVE and if even that fails as well then I think the problem is on your end. If you have any "download accelerators", file sharing programs etc. I suggest you disable those and make sure you computer is clean and then try downloading again, there are trojans and malware that can mess up with your downloads.
If your computer is clean then the next step is to run a memory check, often small faults start showing up as corrupted downloads, odd freezes and reboots etc. also over heating causes same issues. Of c. easiest way see if something is actually wrong on your end is to download the file with a different computer and see if it installs on that computer and then try the same on your end. |

Not sure if this post will even get a second look because I posted a petition and 4 days later or something, no reply.
So here goes. I'm also having launcher issues, however, mine's a little different to what has been posted previously.
No error messages appear. Launcher appears to open a command prompt window, and then it disappears. Eve.exe appears in the task manager 'processes' tab, then disappears.
Ran repair.exe, comes up with errors. Below is the log from the repair tool.

Can you PLEASE sort bookmarks ordering any patch soon? This isn't hard to fix. They are NOT sorted alphabetically when they start with the same letter. It's random. When more than one BM or folder starts with an S for example, they are not sorted alphabetically individually. |

A couple of guys suggested there may be some kind of problem on my end of the installation download. I use ESET Smart Security and some guys mentioned turning off some of your protections and then downloading the files. I turned off everything in ESET except for something called "HIPS," which I couldn't do at the time because I have a severe disability and it would have restarted my computer (at which point I would not have been able to use it independently). I downloaded the executable file and the two "payload files" for a manual installation of Eve. This took a couple of hours. I ran the executable program and immediately gave me the following error:
NSIS Error:
Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installer's author to obtain a new copy.

I am far from a computer expert. Please advise me on what I need to do to download and install the game.

Guess what he is not the only one. maybe there is a problem on the senders side of maybe the launcher is not feeling well.

Let me explain : "I'm in a rush, i need to buy an shield invulnerability T2" > I have to wait half an hour for the market load and then scroll half an hour to find my hardener !!!
Since the patch and the addition of offcers/DED items, some groups became juste as long as hell !! (armor and shield hardeners are...)
Can't we have separate groups for hardeners, one for each damage type?

Before the escalation i could look at an object under 100km and fly further away still having the camera looking at the object. After escalation the camera will move back to the ship once the ship is over 100km.
Bit annoying for wormholes especially but nothing gamebreaking.

Can I get a link to the current repair.exe file? Someone said they copied it from somewhere and run it from there newly-create Eve directory and it installed the game there. I currently don't have any files on my computer as I did an uninstall. Reinstallation has been problematic as well.

I cannot play! Clicking in general is now delayed and the cursor "phantoms" in locations not indicated by the mouse. i.e. - I right click in space but the right click menu appears on the sidebar. Left clicking on, say, the close window 'x' does nothing. A double left click sends me flying in a random direction.

When I quit EVE my desktop is dimmed. Ctrl-Alt-Del -> cancel fixes it

If bookmarked another day those same WHs , after DT moving to other directions and need rescanning. WTF this crap ? But first important thing, where is the DED combat sites ???

I have burned out several mods due my clicking overheat off and thinking that the ui would work, but it doesn't.

I am NOT going to have multiple launchers all over the place (I detest drakes enough as it is ...) so please CCP, explain why the launcher wants to update itself EVERY time I run it, and therefore sees the existing exefile and demands it is shutdown first?
I think I have a workaround by selecting "only display launcher when there is an update" which at least goes through to firing up a second instance of the game (which after 10 minutes seems to be happily co-existing with the first one), but this was not needed until tonight. C'mon CCP, I am sure you don't want obstacles in the path of people who want to pay you more than one subscription, hmmm?

Confirmed, this problem exists since yesterday latest launcher update, only workaround you described is helping, dunno what CCP was thinking about to change it this way, while before the change nearly everything except the allready reported issues was running just fine.
CCP....i'm really start to think you guys often doesn't make your homework completely or think your thougths about changes over as it should be....so please.....fix this problem and please do it quick.
In regards to the Corporation Orca hangar, some GM's said it was not mentioned in Patchnots but planned change.....again here i see complete fail by you CCP guys, you nerf a Teamplayer feature and doesn't offer a solution or replacement for it, making players life even harder to work as team....and please don't come with the saying 'But but but....you can tractor jetcans to the orca and empty tem in the Orca hangar!!' This is working yes, but attracts Canflippers massively which i don't think was the intention for this change i'm sure.

Last two client updates are trying to download the old fashion way, not through the new installer, on all my clients. Have tried running repair tool with no change. Tried launching installer from EVE folder file instead of desktop shortcut. Made no difference. Cleared all cache files on all clients and restarted computer. Didn't help. Trying to download update from log in screen does nothing. Can close update window and still log into game.
Getting an audio chirp when jumping through gates and fitting window is very flickery when opening. Not sure if these issues are because of client updates not updating.

Just re-experienced a bug that I hadn't seen in a few months where I warp through a regional gate (initiate a session change) and then experience the system / server clock desynchronization which results in the inability to navigate anywhere in the destination system for a period of time.
I don't know if that bug was never addressed properly or it was re-introduced recently, but **** me, that defect was the worst thing in the world for PvP and it kept me from actively participating in fleets. Will un-sub if this bug is still as prevalent.

had the same issue. if re redownload the game and it stopes half way or just befor completion, download a fresh copy of repair.exe from the last post on the previous page and drag it into the uncompleted eve_file and drop then run. dont run it unless its in the ccp folder.
this will then repair the final stages of your download |

I have not seen this issue posted anywhere: my ECM drones don't have the option to "assist" or "guard". Is this due to recent patch? i have not seen/read anything about this. all other context menu are available. i.e. engage/return and orbit/return to dronebay/scoop and abandon drones are all available. verified with another player: he did not have the same issue. I can command to assist or guard with my combat drones however. i'm stumped. any suggestions? |

Graphics issues since updating.
In station even while ship spinning background corrupts. Text boxes including help have traingular shaped gaps. Triangular shaped gaps in planets both in space, on PI screen & on log in.
On AMD catalyst control 12.3 Windows 7.
Posted a petition but I don't think this'll be solved.
God help us when the next update comes out

NPC Agents in stations have shadow figure showing as portrait. Shadow figure also shows as Agent portrait in the Agent mission text box.
Agent info box shows correct portrait (no shadow).
This issue has been active for a few months now.

Sounds like you've placed one of the intermediate systems on "avoid" and the route planner cannot find an alternate route.

**UPDATE** Nothing avoided, clearing cache didn't fix. Reset all settings still no dice. Repair, no change, reinstall no change, hunt down and eliminate every reference/file/folder related to Eve then reinstall SUCCESS!! it had only started after the Patch so I suspect it was either a corrupted file or maybe just Windows way of telling me "F*ck You and Have A Large and Happy Day!"

I had a issue where i had a legal war Took alll steps to make sure the war was active and the proceded to attack my WT in response concord came and blew me and my ridiculously expensive tengu up. 6 Days ago i filed a petition and submitted a bug report neither of which has been looked at I have also started a forum thread related to the issue here.

And bookmarks are STILL not sorted. Closing in on the third major update for a 1 hour fix that can save lives.
And the new "inventory" system. Choosing between a small tiny window perfect for a ships cargo and then have the Corp hangar stuff in the same tiny window, or having the few items you have in cargo blown up to the size you want the Corp hangar window to be. Not a good solution. |

Had the same issue. Checked task manager and launcher.exe was still running. After killing the process everything works the same as it always did. Hope this helps someone. |

Every 5-10 minutes private chat windows bug out. (I have not noticed this happening in normal channels yet.) You can type, but pressing enter won't do a thing, and you also won't receive any new messages after the point where it bugs out. Only workaround seems to be opening a new private chat. |
