They post a few threads, nick the odd bit of loot, yell "gatecamp" a few times. Then they get bored.. and disapear. There are many ways to combat them in game - but the first thing you have to do is your entire corp right click - and block them from local chat. This is the single most devastating thing you can do to them. They thrive on the feeling they are "getting you back" for the time you first killed them. Talking to you in local feeds this, and also aleviates the tremendous boredom they suffer. Imagine how boring a gate camp is... now imagine being on a gate camp and you don't even shoot - you just sit, try to warp in and nick some ammo. This is why they talk a lot in local and have time to bump their threads so often,. This bit of advice was free. skunk (o)
