One of the last questions:
How long have you worked for <your corp>
Possible answer:
more than FIVE (!!!) years.
EVE is not THAT old! ^_^
Thanks and done!

Like what?
Originally by: November's Sun Plus what a rip, i spend all this time and then dont even get to see total results thus far.
I'm going to create some segmentation algorithm based on the findings, so you'll be able to answer just a few questions and then know what type of player you are...not that you don't already know...but it can be fun! :)

Yeah would like to see the results. Also to those who said some things did not make sense...try making a survey that indepth and have it apply to everyone.

I'll be gathering responses till 8/22/04. Will do the drawing on that same day and then publish results a few days later.

Edited by: Scorpyn on 09/08/2004 15:01:21 I'm filling in the form with an imaginary corp atm, and I don't really like the questions... I'm asked to select one option when both could apply, I'm asked to select one option when none could apply, I'm asked to grade stuff that don't seem eve related at all and so on...
Maybe it's just me - it it's not close enough to thisisdefinitelyit, I don't like the options, and I'm at the same time the kinda guy that can agree on both parties in an argument.

If this is the Illia of old I remember, good job. And if not, good job as well. :) Although it appears I recognize this survey from one of those 4 quadrant score card thingies?
I will try to send OF and SBD to do some more surveys for you although it may skew the results.

Perhaps I've gone about this wrong. The hope is to mirror a real life employee satisfaction study and derive overall attribute association w/corporations and measure attribute importance. For example, some of the benefits questions go something like this:
IĈm satisfied w/the eq provided IĈm satisfied w/the dividend
Your corp might not offer equipment or a dividend so these are silly. However, a corporate dividend might be very appealing to you so youĈd rate that high on importance and leave the agreement blank. That way, weĈll be able to figure out that this is something that isnĈt offered but is of significant benefit.

Yep, still little old me training crap to level 5 and looking for ways to fill my time between agent missions. :P
Thanks for taking the survey. Also, a disproportionately high response rate from several corporations shouldn't skew results unless those corporations were unusual in their focus like newbie training or whatever. Even then, player types will be analyzed separately, so we'll be able to identify drivers among segments as opposed to just everyone lumped into one universal bucket.

Well I found this to be fun even if it is difficult to answer many of the questions.
Two quick questions: Would it be ok if EG did a quick article on your survey? (To get more particpants) And would you like me to do it or would you prefer to type up a small something for yourself? Eve Guardian - Former Reporter
